| Is there any anime which made you feel like getting a drink after it ends to escape the sadness it caused you? For me it would be Clannad After Story (of course) lol. It took me a lot of days to process and accept those last 3-4 episodes. What about you? |

This was the first answer that came to my mind when reading the title of the thread. I only watched it recently after getting a HiDive subscription and quite enjoyed learning more about Japanese drinks. For example I didn't know about the polishing the rice for sake and the more polished the rice the higher the grade of sake. After watching I went and bought a bottle of 35% polished daijingo sake and although very expensive was lovely. We finished Clannad AS in a group watch recently and I have to admit to being underwhelmed. I thought I was in for Anohana or Plastic Memories level of sad and it just didn't hit me. Maybe my expectations were too high. I watched Usagi Drop at the same time and found that much more emotionally moving. I do enjoy a drink whilst watching Gintama, especially the funny ones as the gang messing about whilst drunk themselves is fun. |

| I thought you meant this in the sense of an anime that makes you feel like drinking because it was so bad, but either way, my answer would be no. I'm not a drinker, so regardless of the reason, I haven't felt this, but maybe there are some anime that would've been less of a chore to watch if I had had some alcohol in my system. |
