Ooh, looks like Michiru had some secrets of her own. Not surprised that Musashi supports her no matter what as a friend.

Tbh, I believe he and Michiru has one of the more important relationships this season. No wonder she fell for him. It's too bad she can't really live a normal life given her importance this season.

Action was pretty tense this episode too.

It's hard not to fall in love with Musashi, he always love his friend without a condition.

I love when this anime show again and again the concept of why bushi is so strong, because they're a very closed group, close to the point that all of bushi members have the same hair color. It also hints why all bushi bands have many members, because if the group is too small then it can't maintain the pure blood concept without "crossing the incest line", I don't have a problem with it though.

Great episode! Michiru saved Musashi by untying him! Akihiro arrives and is quite threatening...
Her siblings arrive and reveal to Musashi who she really is and her mission of retrieving the obsidian goddess...
I felt really sorry for Michiru who was put in such a bad position because of her horrible father.
I'm glad Musashi knew she was a good intending person and was on her side! She is in love with him also.
Her horns are bleeding...
But someone stops her bleeding (though not exactly out of kindness).
And wow, the demons ate their sister....
And they even have yamata no orochi's blood in their veins!
Wow, yellow kitetsu blade users like the Uesugi leader can enhance their own and others physical properties.
And, Inuikai killed him??!

Looking forward to the next episode!

The Black Dogs and Yataro are definitely onto Musashi, whom doesn't know the fact that Michiru is a traitor, and will continue to support her for as long as he lives...until her other Oni siblings come along to reveal the truth.

Michiru's deep dark, secret truth that Musashi has to swallow, for Michiru, it was all an act to get closer to him without any suspicion, and this is the truth for any embedded family mission. This is exactly what Tsugumi went through in her Bushi clan in the 1st Cour, and now's the same with Michiru where love triumphs over fear.

Even more so, Naoe impresses with his Bushi skills of how the Uesugi Band fights, but Michiru's family prides on being the constant source of power over-growing to feed on each other, and this is unfortunately the truth that's the same for any Bushi. For Tatsuomi Uesugi, his Yellow Kitetsu Blade is strong on the cusp of borrowed power, but for pride as a Bushi Band that makes it different to showcase its insanity.

Inukai Shiro makes his appearance yet again as the root cause, though his infiltration cover to slain Tatsuomi is the perfect brutal cliffhanger.

The bastard sword collector Inukai Shiro is back and it looks like he might have killed the Uesugi clan leader. I hope he's not dead.

Orient is the definition of the word "underestimated", like seriously, this season has been pretty good so far.

I think after this episode everyone can agree this anime has potential to be a hidden gem. It has good characters ,a pretty good plot, and I like the fact that musashi isnt being carried by the obsidian princess which give me Naruto and kurama vibes. There are good twist so far which I personally love like when Kanetatsu was reviled to be strong which I personally was not not expecting. But the animation is a little bit on the lower side but nowhere close to what SDS was. I feel like it it’s gonna be a little like World trigger (If u haven’t watched it I highly recommend) in the sense not many people will be bothered with it because of the animes due to come out this year lineup but it will gain popularity over time and I pray they don’t rush it.

Holy, what a cliffhanger! Was hoping Mushashi would pull something off but it was better this way since we got to see how powerful the Uesugi Band really is.

I liked it because the episode shows that Michiru has her identity revealed and it is revealed to Uesugi's bushi group that Musashi has the obsidian god

He killed that leader easy peasy? Wow

Wonder how theyll respond once they realize he has the obsidian goddess inside him. Obviously he'll try to save the oni girl
