| The girl already had powers before finding the ball then, bc she saw the ghost as a child. Why did she wait 10 years to attack her then? She didn't seem attracted by the ball. The drama was too forced for me. I'm getting Bleach vibes and i like it. |

| Is that Aira's mom? I think she just got the memories from the ghost when she gave her aura in order to resurrect her. Also, in page 5 we see the corpse of her real mom and it doesn't look like the one in the previous flashback. Maybe somebody can clarify because I've seen a lot of people thinking that she is her real mother. |

It's a fairly known superstition though so I wouldn't be surprised if they just assume people are familiar with it. It doesn't really have to be explained in technical detail bc it's just a story. She made contact with the spirit as a child, forgot about it and then when she could suddenly see spirits again, they met again. It's weird but not a plot hole or anything. |

| i guess this youkai 's design is based on 八尺様 / Hachishaku-sama / Hasshaku-sama . https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Eight_Feet_Tall ... the form of an impossibly tall female specter ... she repeats the interjection "Po po po po po" [ぽ] ... a habit of preying on / eating / swallowing children ... black hair. she dressed in a white summer dress and the wide-brimmed hat with no shoes ... Hachishakusama, to catch her victims, she stalks the children for some days, ... children are still dependent on older family members, which Eight Feet Tall can mimic in order to lure her victims away. |
