As for this mid feeling. Well, maybe with anime, sometimes I feel that things are a bit slow. Maybe even too slow. When I read the manga there is no such problem. On the other hand, the presentation of all the characters is not over yet...

It's okay. You're unable to see the mass appeal. That's the edge this show has over the rest this season.
It isn't groundbreaking. It isn't incredibly funny. It just has a little something for everybody.

Is it overrated? It is. Do I see why it's rated so highly? I do. And I don't have a problem with it.

Don't know what you were expecting but from the beginning it's clear that the anime is comedy, wholesome with bit of action mix in so it's on you for having some high bias expectations

It’s not mid, plot is different and good light hearted comedy but yes agreed it’s way too overhyped for no reading atleast let the season get over first

Idk what you were expecting when you picked this childcare theme show...
do you want AoT like plot in this , demon slayer like animation.... you thread seemed like you had that much expectations from it I won't complain If you find this show mid , below average or anything....
least I could say is that I enjoy this show to full extent and will give it a 8/10 rating I believe later on we'll get the backstories of characters so s2 would be pretty enjoyable

next time if you don't want to watch mid shows check the tags first and more importantly there are not that many perfect 10/10 shows you'll eventually run out of them... better learn to appreciate the other stuff too
