I seen a littloe bit of Break Blade TV show n it was like I was watchin the movie coz the scenes are almost Identical man like holy shit! I havnt read the manga but do these two adaptions follow it properly? Ive Seen the movies btw n they were awesome.

The movie had its own ending right? So Im wondering like...is there any differences? is there stuff cut out or anything added in? and has it reached the part the movie ended at? or do you think theyll cover it season 2?

The series is the same as the movies/OVAs, with one additional fight by Girge in the 10th episode and another short scene with him at the beginning of ep11. The endings are also the same in both version, and they follow the manga pretty closely up to Ch.51. The fights go down a bit differently but end with the same results.

Each as their own pros and cons. The TV show skims over the story but it also adds a few new things that were left out of the movies. The movies have a lot of extra details that are missing from the TV series that make the story feel more complete. If I was to recommend Break Blade I would direct new people to the movies. I found them better than the TV show.

I figured it would be like that. ~Its only 12 episodes n that aint enough to cover 6 movies worth of content. 24 would have been best.

It's not a bit differently. Final battle in the movie was a complete bull with a freaking shuriken on cords. In the original the battle was awesome and made sense.

Watch the movies and maybe episode 10 of the TV series. Honestly the entire TV series was pointless. The meager amount of new content does not justify watching 12 episodes of mostly the same.

Unless of course, they make a 2nd season.

Both and neither. The TV series was pointless and a literal copypaste of the movies, so I guess you could say the movies are better. Also the movie OP is much better. It's sad when an OP is the deciding factor on which is better.

I dont see how can any1 decide which is better by simply basing it off the OP. Ive seen a shit load of animes with sick OP's but shitty show and vice versa

How can they? The ending and lead up for the Anime TV series was non-cannon.

If they wanted to do a second season the story would have stuck to the manga in which case it could have continued for a lot longer.

As it is if it does continue it'll be a very heavy adaptation and would unlikely be as good as the source material.

What are you talking about? The TV version is closer to the manga and therefore canon. And a possible second season would of course have to stick to the manga.

!0 manga volumes in 12 episodes. Seems legit.

(I wouldn't recommend the anime or the manga to anyone)
I'm also filled with pure-hearted ulterior motives.

Go for the movies since they're more faithful to the source. Then catch up with the manga. It's totally worth it.

The movies are approximately 50min each that's why it is possible to cover up 6 movies in 12 episodes

I know its late, but im coming here years later and the manga is absolute dogshit,

I don't know how this dogshit managed to get such a good anime/movie adaptation while tons of good manga never got adapted.
did the author have connections in the industry?

@Neostorm-X it comes down to popularity... Whatever is popular, it'll get adapted. Or, if the author has money I guess?
