| For a couple of this kind to be interesting the girl has to have something at which she's bettter than the guy, or she's just some boring doll in the background. Normally it's intelligence, like Takagi-san. And then there's the couple where he can beat anyone, whereas she needs to be protected all the time - except that she can beat the crap out of him when the situation requires it. That's always good for a laugh. |

Just off the top of my head I'd maybe go with Takumi x Hachi (Nana), Simon x Nia (Gurren Lagann), Shin x Lena (86). These couples technically fit the idea of stronk boi and lil princess, but it balances out? I dunno, read Nana to Kaoru if you want some D/s fun. |

| One of my favorite instances of this specific brand of relationship is Ash and Eiji from Banana Fish. Also, even if the plot is about her becoming stronger, Nanami x Tomoe from Kamisama Hajimemashita. |
