| note: this post is not for normies. These are manga and anime art websites, they also have a lot of R-18 content. The one I use the most out of all of these is Pixiv, because I have the Pixiv app, I even have an account, but linked from facebook, for pixiv. Although I don't post anything on this website, I go into this everyday, and I have been using pixiv for roughly 5 years. view both this site both on the app, and on my PC. I even enable the R-18 stuff so I could look at some adult content artworks, there are times when enable the R-18G stuff but that only happens once in certain random times, and then I immediately disable the R-18G stuff when I am done looking. The one i used the second most is Sankaku Complex, this website is full of different artworks, most of them are mature content. I also have an account there, but I don't post anything, I go here to look at the most R-18 pictures of my favorite anime characters. Danbooru is my third most used website, also with an account, and I don't post anything either. This is basically a softcore version of Sankaku, There is also a lot of R-18 content in this site, but not as extreme. I've known and used Danbooru longer than Pixiv, but not nearly as many times I use Pixiv. I barely ever used the other two websites. |

| never saw those from 3rd to 5th in the poll. Danbooru has turned out useful sometimes but it has too much lewd pictures and i don't like them. Pixiv was discovered recently and has already proven to be better, even if i often have to write exact kanji characters to have the expected results |

I'm not sure of all the tags hidden behind the "display all site content" option, but it does include anything loli related, and I think also includes gore and some fetish tags. I think they added this around the same time other sites were purging their loli content, as a way of trying to fly under the radar. The 00 trick on pixiv is for limiting your search by number of bookmarks, basically its a popularity filter. I think 00 for >100 bookmarks, 000 for >1000 etc. etc. Pixiv EN is pretty easy to use at this point. I can't read any Japanese and I do ok. Your search field should look like this, with the zeroes just sitting after your query: 撫で回したいお腹 000 yes I picked a funny tag for the example XD |

| Pixiv and Twitter = Direct sources from artists I like. Danbooru when I want to browse for content that is collated and tagged. Danbooru is much stricter with the vetting and tagging of art and they respect artists' requests for takedowns. This is because most of the content there is actually seen and evaluated by real users. Other boorus(rule34, paheal, e621, sankaku complex, and again, Gelbooru) are pretty much bot scrapes. Nevertheless, I actually like that Gelbooru exists because its very existence reduces the load on Danbooru servers LOL. Yandere content is sparse. It's pretty much just a small community's cherrypicked choices of art they like. That means high quality however. Sankaku complex has a smaller community of uploaders (most of their 30 million submissions are scraped off other sites with bots), begs for money, and has malware ads. But at least it isn't Tsumino which has both malware ads and neo nazi users. |
