| if there’s one style that is crazy good it is Prison School (manga), but I guess this is an anime related thread so for anime I would go for Mysterious Girlfriend X, something about the show’s look is amazing in my eyes |

Kaiba had a very unique character design reminding me of those 60s cartoons Also the series Y.Sato and Y.Kondo were involved in the 80s-90s after Miyazaki's Future Boy Conan. They look like Ghibili on TV long before Ronja and better too.   Same for some series by S.Seki, though characters look more melancholic, distinct from Ghibili school  |

| There are so many artstyles that I love and I can’t seem to choose an absolute favorite, but if I have to choose a few then these are my current favorite artstyles in no particular order: - Monogatari Series: Bakemonogatari, Kizumonogatari and anything by Vofan - Detective Conan (old artstyle) - Studio Ghibli - Clannad ( yes I love the eyes) - Mononoke - Kabanari of the iron fortress - anything from the 80s- early 00s |

| Just a few that come to mind in no particular order: Mob Psycho's anime, Legend of the Galactic Heroes (yeah it's definitely dated and a bit harsh looking now but I just have a soft spot for that older anime look), One Piece manga, and probably Gurren Lagann |

| Art styles that still "look anime" but not too chibi or too cute and not too realistic if that makes sense? I also don't like too bright colors, except I'm in mood for a cute CGDCT, shoujo or magical girl anime, but it's not my favorite art style still. Also I adore for example the manga art from Noragami a lot and similar art styles. Tho I like cute art styles for anime in a dark setting like Made in Abyss too. |

| Don't have any experience besides anime, but I love shaft's take on characters and settings in their monogatari series adaptation. Not sure if it counts, but the art in tenshi no tamago is so bleak and cold it's awesome. Trigger's artstyle is pretty consistently wicked. Also the animation in the first season of Quanzhi Gaoshou. That's really something. I think. |
