It's same theme over again with girls fighting to restore feelings.

A lot of high emotions and drama among the reflectors. We got to see Hiori fight perhaps one of her toughest battles. It was a tough reality to deal with in their society.

OH MY GOD! Everything about this show is soooooo annoying!! They keep going about not hesitating anymore these past episodes which gave me hope, but then this episode comes in AND THEY DO NOTHING AGAIN!!! What happened to not hesitating anymore? What happened to doing everything they can to protect the fragments? Literally every fight they do nothing but talk and get their asses kicked...

I knew it was a matter of time before Ryoka and Amiru would suffer the same fate, and indeed, Mio has traced Ryoka down to capture her feelings of sorrow.

I hate the fact that this show being a 2-cour, meant that pacing a shitty adaptation such as this, I only cared much about getting into the action fast and not much about the crass drama which seemed like forever.

A good step forward that now both Hiori and Ruka is begiining to acknowledge their powers as Reflectors of restoring Fragments of feelings, though to restore the pairing of Ryoka and Amiru is already a lost cause being under Masochist Uta. Words can be exchanged, but the heart of the matter is that there's no turning back from the mere difference between the hearts' cry and manipulation, so it's down to the usual good va. evil battle to do the job.

The absent-minded Hiori still doesn't understand, which really sets back the obvious truths of what the Reflector pairs are fighting for, and the consequence of that is her resonation with Ruka. Yet another girl's feelings lost, and Niina has to drill them straight into Hiori's head...right from the beginning.

Fingers crossed if Hiori is able to understand her position, and that time is of the essence.

Oh welp, maybe the flashback will explain things better. For now this is just almost an exact repeat of cour 1. lol

Unfortunately, I already watched more than half of this series to drop it but really, the script is so repetitive (a lot of common settings in girls' anime) that sometimes is annoying. Technically, the backgrounds are amazing but the characters' animation lacks the same quality.

Well i was right that Ryoka and Amiru will turn to dark side, seriously i really love Niina, she is the only one who deserves the role of main heroine, she went from full evil to total good, Ruka and Hiori are still useless, all the hardships from 1st season is for nothing, they need to start killing or they won't grow at all, Hiori need to understand that, she must kill her sister and Shino, it's the only way.
Current reflectors are shame and useless compared to game ones, except Niina, even masochist Uta showing some spirit in this ep, but our heroines are the same useless.
Really disappointing in them, and only one thing can give them redemption, if they kill both Shino and Mio with they own hands. This show needs to get darker like game. let Mio die.
If the story continues the same way i won't be surprised if someone from AASA really arrive and save everyone.

Uh seriously Amiura and Ryoka are on the bad side now, too bad because I liked them but now they're so annoying :/ we'll get some flashback/explanations moments for Hiori with her sister so it can be interesting.

When I started watching the series, I didn't even think that Niina-chan would be the best characters to really develop. Those who watched Seikon no qwaser remember a couple of Ekaterina and Hana. I really hope that at the end the masochist Uta will form exactly the same pair with Niina. As far as the episode is concerned, does Shina and Mio really look like people to be trusted? Okay Ryoka, but I didn't expect Amiru to go over to the dark side so easily.

Well, so far, it doesn't seem like they are all right, considering that they themselves say that they are stuck between the real world and the common.

The upcoming flashback should explain a bit about the origin of our heroines' current crisis, but it's also possible that it will focus more on the Hirara sisters' dilemma.
I really wonder what's Hiori's sister's deal...
Also, I don't know what kinda erratic situation they're in but I'm glad the citrus sisters are fully back!

at this point.. Nina is the only one who keeps me watching the show. Everyone else is boring, or annoying, or a combination of boring and annoying.

surprised to see Nina's bag is actually empty. She has a sad life, I hope she can find some happiness too.

good episode, though it was kind of obvious about Amiru and Ryoka joining the otherside... its not a bad kind of obvious.
Though I am getting a bit tired of Uta........ Niina is truly best girl.

Blue Reflection Ray review. A fascinating show. The surface story is a well designed and plotted magical girl show where the protagonists try to protect other girls' negative feelings from being "consumed" by the antagonists for their own use.

But the show subverts anime tropes to create a sense of foreboding, and way the show plays with the characters' perception of reality makes the viewer question everything they see. The theme of hundreds of girls and women living with social anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome and other mental health problems is a dark commentary on the mores and structures in modern society.

An excellent Anime that is worth bing watching. It has 24 Episodes. + 24 OVA Mini Chibi Episodes all worth watching.

Storyline: 9/10
Art style: 10/10
Music: 9/10
Fight scenes: 9/10
Overall Enjoyment: 9/10

This is one of the best Magical Girl Anime and Video games I have ever watched and played. Some of the characters in the franchise. Hiori Hirahara, Mio Hirahara, Yuzu & Lime Shijō Yuzuki, Shijō Raimu, Ruka Hanari, Shino Mizusaki, Uta Kamogawa, Nina Yamada, Saiki Yuri, Yukiko Takaoka. Gust Koei Tecmo DMM Pictures Games and Anime. Reflector battles.Blue Reflection Ray is a really good Anime. You should watch it if you haven't yet. The music is beautiful, characters are lovable, gameplay is really good. Also the storyline is very enjoyable. I recommend em to everyone who is either into Anime. Or just wants a fun Magical Girl Anime to watch. The transformations are similar to Sailor Moon and Madoka Magica in a way. Some of the art style reminds me of Yuki Yuna is a Hero. Like the color schemes in some scenarios. Ruka Hanari looks similar to Sailor Mars Rei Heino in a way. This has one of the best Anime OST BGM soundtracks I have ever heard hands down. If you have not played Blue Reflection, Tie/Second or even watched the Blue Reflection Ray Anime. Than your missing out. This series is quite enjoyable and lovable. Blue Reflection Ray that takes place between the first and second game that is a must watch. Really enjoyed it a lot. Blue Reflection Sword other the girl who dances in illusions. Blue Reflection Tie.

I love Mel Kishida's art style. It's very pretty. The Anime as a whole is perfect. It may not be the cream of the crop, but it's still really fun. And really enjoyable.
