| I don't necessarily have a problem with unnatural hair colors, but I still prefer black and blonde (I know blonde hair doesn't naturally occur in Japan, leave me alone). The fact that blonde hair doesn't naturally occur with Japanese people have led them to romanticize it and a lot of the beautiful and pretty characters in anime and manga tend to have blonde hair, and I think it's so boring that it actually works. It's always so obvious that these characters looks are meant to be like the prettiest of the bunch, yet I always end up gravitating towards them, especially when they have short hair. Girls with short, black hair still the best though, fuck white hair. For guys, I prefer brown hair. I don't even know why, my best guess is the fact that when I think of a bland harem romcom protagonist the image in my head is always pitch black hair. I know some of them have brown hair, but the hair color my brain has associated with them is black hair. Blond looks too delinquent too, which I do kind of fuck with, but even in delinquent stories my favorites are never the blond ones. |
