| Before watching this movie, I heard many people saying that this movie was really sad and that they cried a lot during the movei and at the end. So I watched this movie bracing myself for incredible sadness to come but I waited and waited and it didn't come, even the movie ended and then then I tried to cry at the ending thinking maybe it was sad? But then I realized that there was nothing sad in the ending, it was actually a happy ending. I think when people say they cried in this movie, maybe those were tears of happiness because I couldn't find a single scene which was actually sad. Personally, I spent half my time watching the movie trying to figure out what the fuck was actually happening, what timeline it is and stuff. It was too complicated for my little brain and this is the reason I hate anime/movies involving time travel. This confusion led me to not able to enjoy the movie completely. I'm a pretty huge cry baby and I think I could have cried at least a little if the plot wasn't all over the place. This is a pretty good movie but gets really confusing at times. I'm thinking of re-watching this, hoping I will understand it better after watching it a second time, maybe I'll even shed a few tears. |
