| My most common is 7 but my mean score is ≈6.5. 7 is a safe score for something a liked quite a bit but still indicates there are plenty of shows above it. |

| Yeah my most common score is 7 because 7 is the average of series (6-10) which i consider good. but i don't think i am very lenient. Because i avoid watching any series that has chances of me give 5-1 so thats why my lower limit scores are very low. |

| 8 Why? I don't know. I'm fairly lenient with my scores I suppose. It was probably 7 before I went an pruned some of my 9s. I don't generally rate anime I even sort of disliked below a 5 or 6. It's only anime that I found incredibly boring or had an aspect that I strongly disliked. |

| my average is 8.3 so i give out a lot of high scores. 7 is usually my base rating (the show is pretty good, it made me laugh, it didn't feel like a waste of time basically). 8 is a little better than that, but maybe something from the plot or an annoying character prevented me from enjoying it fully and giving the show a 9 or 10. |
| My top are the following: 7/10 (76 anime scored 7) 9/10 (40 anime scored 9) 10/10 (38 anime scored 10) 8/10 (37 anime scored 8) 6/10 (34 anime scored 6) Yes, I enjoy anime easily. As someone who studies creative writing, and story writing/craft history (among other things), personally it just makes me much more appreciative of most things that I watch and read, more than I did before I studied these things. So it really has to do with the fact that I'm more respectful and appreciative about what I watch, because I at least understand what it tries to do and enjoy it for that. I do easily enjoy things, and a lot of things are good at resonating with me in several ways. Anime teaches me many things. But, whether you like it or not, me knowing a lot about writing doesn't make it any less of personal taste. 6-7/10 might be because it was "good enough," but didn't exactly resonate with me, or did enough to strike me. If I haven't completed an anime (still on "watching") and it's 6-7/10, this is why. 8/10 is somewhere between 7 and 9 and really differs. 9-10/10 is because the anime did something to deeply invoke me, which once again, truly differs depending on the anime. I could really spend twenty-five paragraphs on why I love each anime specifically, but truly, anything out of sheer enjoyment is arbitrary. After all, this is entertainment. |

These are mostly any anime that I simply like or I find entertaining. of course, I would take into consideration other factors like plots, characters, animation, etc. but if it is decent and not so overly noticeably irritating while I'm watching, then that deserves a 7 for me. If there are some errors and mistakes that I just can't blindly accept, that'll belong to 6 or lower and if the show touches my heart or absolutely impacted my whole soul that I can't put into words, then they're between 8-10. and I do not usually watch anime to critically analyze it but to enjoy it, and I can easily enjoy and appreciate any anime as long as they are decent and fits in my criteria of being enjoyable. But I must say I really avoid trashy anime so I guess it partly affects my numbers in giving lower scores. |
