Enough that I don't seem to give a fuck about any of the stuff other people find disturbing, way past the point of caring.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

I spent $14,000 in Asuka merchandise

My annual salary is $4,000

That's how much anime melted my brain
If you're a fanboy, please don't waste my time.

Watch more movies, please.

Perhaps, this is hell.

It is has gotten to a point where I spend more time lurking/participating in discussions on anime than watching it and I hate it!

Same here. I also haven't watched any anime aside from a few OVAs in the past 4 months.

I've never been that huge into binging anime, but recently I've been waking up and just not getting out of bed for more hours than I'd like to admit.

I grew up watching shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force..My brain was melted way before I got into anime.

The funny thing about this is my mom thought Yu-Gi-Oh cards were satanic...But I was allowed to watch adultswim...

A lot of common things become anime references, but other than that it is hard to say. I would not say it had a negative impact on me since I would just game more without anime. Youtube is probably more toxic tbh.

Since I haven't started claiming opinions can be objectively wrong like the fans of a certain waifu cesspool isekai show, I'm going to go with 0% degraded. I also refrain from purchasing anime merchandise or going to conventions. Waste of time and money.
There's no inherent right or wrong in this universe, but when we think with emotions rather than logic, we make things so.

It was worse when my mates first got me to start watching anime in late 2012, during the first 90 days I had watched 30 days worth of shit.

My brain is still melting out of my skull

I think I saw it before, a long time ago. I know that I have the Renge recorder cover of Darude Sandstorm in my favorites somewhere.

As far as general brain-melting goes, I watched the "Kill Me Baby" ED probably ten times in a row one morning. It was like 6am.

Okay so I've probably not watched much anime the past year or so because we'll I got burnt out but my interest for it remained the same. Now I'm catching up and I've started watching it regularly again but anyways when I was binging shit loads of anime 2-3 years back I was in this proper typical seen phase and once I had that years break I could step back and start realising how this entire medium is all a lie xD. From the waifus to everything it's all just entertainment. Atleast 70% of the characters in anime are fabricated to an extreme level there's no way you'd find similar characteristics irl. Now I accept all of that but still go on to enjoy anime and I know the limits of the medium

I wouldn't say its extreme but I do imagine a lot of situations happening in real life with me that are straight out of anime.

I feel old how it's already classic memes, it feels.. Video is posted in 2014.. And it still feels half of those memes - are memes of today too.. Why newer stuff isn't getting classic, I wonder?.. Maybe it's just me having these feels.. Of being old, and of newer memes don't becoming classic..

So far none. Anime is pretty tolerable like no matter what kind of genre it is. Nothing come close to the actual sad realities in life and I believe that this is why I find anime as a peaceful solace.

This is my answer.

Here it is

Ok. I may have exaggerated a bit. Actually that's my brain when I watch
.

Watching anime hasn't really melted my brain as it does with

And that is for obvious reasons.

I have become addicted to scheduling and spreadsheets to min-max my Anime-watching time, and so far, I have spent hours-upon-hours each day just obsessing over timetables and checklists. My life has become more organized, but in return, I'm now constantly late to bed and can barely go a day without relying on constant reminders, to-do lists, and agendas that keep track of everything I need to complete. My memory has become obsolete--my computer remembers everything for me.

Anime is my main source of entertainment so 90% of my brain has melted.
I made 30 in 2021 and have been watching casually for 5+ years (2006-2010). Consecutively for 10 years (2011-2020).

I have spent money on anime DVDs, figurines and other merch. Have played anime games on computer and smartphone.

I read manga, watch anitubers and anime reaction videos.

I haven't watch live-action movies or TV series for a few years. Occasionally listen to music

I don't think it ever has; YouTube Poop (and before that, Garfield) has probably done more in this regard anyway.
Avatar character is Gabriel from Gabriel DropOut.
