| I don't know how people can remember individual soundtracks. OPs and EDs, maybe, but I rarely remember individual soundtracks unless they stand out to me (Bleach, Highschool DXD etc.) |

| This isn't really an easy thing to say as most anime soundtracks are so forgettable. There are very few anime where I can remember a majority of the soundtrack, let alone want to go back and listen to them in isolation of the show. |

| What? Attack on Titan has really good music. This smells like a troll. Here are few soundtracks I didn't really like: Fairy Gone Mahou Shoujo Ore Love Stage!! Kamisama Kiss (I have to listen to it on it's own to give it another chance) Some of the insert songs in Great Pretender Now that I think about it, there aren't many soundtracks that I think are "bad" music, it's more an issue of them being forgettable. Stuff like Falkenbach or early Enslaved. But that's not going to happen in anime. |

I like AOT's OST but it's often easy to tell Sawano composed something because a lot of his tracks sound similar. Not that I don't mind in some cases but he isn't a composer with a lot of range. Anyway I don't agree VS soundtrack was bad but I will agree there isn't anything that stands out about it. I don't really agree that just because it's anime WIT couldn't have found a better composer. I mean Kevin Perkin has been one of the best recent anime composers and he is from Australia. They probably could have brought in some indie composers into folk from Norway, Denmark or Iceland. I will say personally it's hard to recall soundtracks I hate. Many that I think are kind of mediocre or meh but never one I actually hated. Probably will find one eventually. |
