| Oh, wow. A glimpse of their past really shared a great info. That earth dragon pet actually a bullier at her past life to Kumoko? Well, thats a bad recall. Then, look at how she redeeming her reincarnation life. Surrendering much? Because its looks like a better way to be a redemption? Thats not a good choice. Look at how badly Kumoko passed through its new lifes as a spider. Kumoko even didn't surrender and always tried Kumoko's best to survive against those goddamn ugly monsters. The intensed fights and the will of survival always resulting in a good way, until the evolution arrived to be the reward. Well, that choices, tho. Its not much. Its still a spider, tho, but at least Kumoko was evolved! But, what kind of evolution Kumoko got at the end? Once again, thats a nice determination from those little spider. If only the earth dragon, Fei, knew whats goin on behind it, her redeeming lifes was ofc just a waste of time to be lazy like that. So, lets continued whats goin on after that, together with how those army movement previously with those giant hard-shell egg implicated their new lifes as a reincarnation .... |

| Loved it! All dat hard work burned to the ground was kinda like oof and eek. But yeah even that snake battle made me thinking shitttt your gonna die... I felt like I was the one about to die and just wanted to escape KeK but damn awesome to see the progression. |

Lesson learned from the Dragon Pet: stop bullying people... All i can say is Aoi Yuuki really killing it with her fantastic Voice Acting and make a Spider to have a Great Personality and not boring... |

| The VA is knocking this character out of the park! She's so vibrant and funny,its bloody adorable. As for the animation,I don't think its that bad,really,I think it fits this anime so well. And as for people comparing it to Tensura,just stop,it's its own anime,with it's own style.I understand why people would compare it,and tbh,I love Rimuru and his entourage,but I don't use that fact to put a downer on this. In its own way,its as good as Tensura,and in some ways(esp Aoi Yuuki's portrayal of Kumoko)it's better! I look forward to both new eps of Tensura and new eps of this. |

I felt like her reactions to danger and despair where a little off (she could scream less), but it was nice to see she evaluating her fighting skills. It's very relatable to a game. Besides, at the humans' part I got annoyed because they talked about reincarnation as if it was nothing, once they're surrounded by not reincarnated people. Well, I'm willing to overlook it because on videogames what you say don't matter to the bots anyway. I feel that the episode is in too much of a rush to forward the story. People need more time to adjust to her experiences so that her reactions would be more relatable. Nonetheless, I think the anime did a good try in adapting the loss of her home in another way. I'm quite worried about the human part as they indeed did not talk about reincarnation stuff in the presence of non-reincarnations, at least at this point in the story. I hope they don't skip the struggle that the shun side reincarnations went through when they were first born into this "world". Perhaps they would put them as a flashback that is relevant to the plot of another episode. Still, does this mean that we will get a nicely-paced volume 5 adaptation to end off the 2nd cour? One can hope. One can also hope that volume 7 of the novel gets adapted into a movie. heh. |

Kumo episode 1: A schoolgirl becomes a spider with no cheats. What the fuck!? And schoolkids (not the kumo(=spider) from the title..) got reincarnation with typical cheats. -> meaning from episode 1, Kumo is a survival fantasy. |

I always found funny all those users calling Spider "Slime rip-off" when Slime is even more similar to Re:Monster than Spider to Slime. Re:Monster: - MC reincarnates in a cave - MC is a goblin - MC gets the skill of the monsters he eats - First arc is about MC helping a goblin village to grow and become a bigger village/empire. Thanks for the clarification, I'll have to find where they said that! I don't know much about Re: Monster, but it is interesting to know that it is older than both, surely there is another similar anime further back If Kumo-chan starts to build a village, I will think twice when they say that it is similar to tensei, but from my point of view there is hardly any comparison for the type of gender |

| Spider isn't a rip off to anything, especially not the slime series that's only a year older, they're just similar in certain aspects. Read ahead and you'll instantly know where they differ, lol. But either way, this was a good episode despite the fact that it's heavily jumping around content. Especially since I've only ever read the manga. I don't understand why some people would dislike the way it looks either, sure shows like berserk 2016 and exarms give viewers ailments, but this show looks fairly great for what it is, the only thing that could do with an upgrade is solely the MC and the frog to an extent but it isn't even really a problem, I think. A series like this isn't going to get the redline treatment lol. I'm excited that it's going to be 24 episodes though, it'll probably cover further than where I read to (29/49+) based on the trailers and op/ed. |

I assume this, because it's pretty freaking obvious you have no idea how important the side story is if you think it's filler. The manga is great, but you can't say they're 'butchering this series' by putting back in everything it decided to cut for baffling reasons - if you haven't read the LN or WN, you don't know what the full story is, and your opinions on how this adaptation is handling it mean basically nothing. Sorry. |

Everything is important, but it's still all incomplete information. This story is intentionally misleading, and it's too early to really know what it's all about. Maybe even 3 episodes are not gonna be enough. If it does't make your cut next episode, give it another chance in a couple of weeks, or even better, read the novels, cause for those I can vouch for already. When things start rolling it'll get addicting. |

| Personally, I think it's interesting, at least more interesting than Slime. Aoi Yuki's strength is indeed very strong, and the production is quite good. Both the storyboard and the performance show the loveliness and optimism of Kumoko, which is very interesting. But I heard that the anime company Millepensee is a new company? It seems that the company made an anime called "Cop Craft" before, and the art became worse in the middle, and the evaluation was not very good. So I'm worried about the quality in the future… |
