| This is maybe the second anime studio i have hated in my life and that say lot . I’m sorry but mappa shouldn't be defended. like said in other forum If you need more time then just delay it, if you can’t delay, then try to dedicate more staff and resources to this episode, to make up for the lack of time. oh wait, you probably can’t do that, because MAPPA is working on like 100 different things at the same time right now, so maybe you should focus more on quality versus quantity, and if you know you can’t provide the expected quality, maybe you shouldn’t take on a giant project like AoT in the first place. I am so disappointed. Would you have any problem to wait as long as everything is 2d or have better GCI? |

| David Productions or Ufotable would have been PERFECT. Shiz....even BONES would have done an amazing job Studio Wit...perhaps I've been too harsh on you. I'm soo sorry. I don't hate the other aspects of the episode. Especially when it focuses on the people. Animation is nice. I did hate the Ost used last episode and I thought that was bad.... This episode was hot garbage. The fights scenes killed it. Eren gobbled up Willy like Tom eats Jerry. If went from AoT to a kids cartoon during those titan fight moments. The war hammer titans transformation scene was cool. The way it manifested weapons also was cool. Apart from that, everything else was terribad. The way studio clown has been doing Black Clover....I think even they could have done a better job. Action scene wise at least. Again, I have no problem with the people shots. Titan fights killed the episode for me.. |

| I still don't get why Wit studio didn't finish this considering how big AOT is and how much more appreciation for it they would get later on. You would think that would warrant more attention then the other things they have planned but fuck it I guess not huh. Maybe they're struggling with the pandemic but even then just delay it... Man.. this episode is giving me ptsd from Overlord season 3 and seven deadly sins both of which could have been great if they delayed it.... To answer the title I'm disappointed in Mappa for not taking this seriously. If they put more effort this could have been big for them. I dislike Wit studio though. Finish what you started, if not give it to someone you know who can properly. |

Wit didn't do s4 because it put way too much pressure on their staff, they were struggling to meet deadlines so they decided to pass it on to another studio because of how hard of a project it was on the staff. Also the animators had a very small time window to animate s4, they aren't slacking lmao they're busting their ass off, if anything blame the higher ups in the studio that took on a project when they didn't have enough time to complete it, animators aren't at fault here. Then delaying it would have been the best course of action. Yea I should have been more specific. I'm not blaming the animators just the person who decided to release it in the state it was in. |

This isn't some charity that we should be grateful with whatever we get. They're selling a product - an animated TV show and people pay money to watch it, buy the blu-ray and merchandise. The bad management practices and exploitation of animators isn't going to change my opinion, nor should it. That should be kept separate from one's judgement of the show. |

They won't redo it if they couldnt do it now while they where making the epiosdes before it aired what makes you think they will be able to redo it in only a few months before the Blu-ray/dvd/digital releases come out and that tweet is to a staff member that didn't even work on the epiosde |

They were forced by the committee to start airing the final season right before the end of 2020. They're doing the best they can and it's been fantastic so far besides some CGI. It could've been worse, but it's not. Some of y'all really need to contemplate the environment that the animators are put into currently. Some of you even went on threatening the people working on this season. It's pathetic. Learn to keep some of your stupid opinions to yourself. |

There's so many people working at MAPPA that working on alot of anime at once isn't even a problem. The problem was the time they had to make the anime, the higher ups wanted speed not quality so they had a deadline. The staff that works on Jujutsu Kaisen probably had more time which shows in how the shot composition is and animation is on the show. AOT isn't the best but it sure as hell isn't shit either. They don't give a shit you're disappointed, i think they're more worried about how much sleep their gonna get after working on these episodes. You're so ignorant to how this industry works. Sadly, most anime watchers aren't. It's becoming a concern when they go out of their way to say shit when they haven't even done the basic research. |
