It had some really good concepts going and in spite of being a shoujo anime contains a lead who can hold her own in combat just fine. The focus on dreams instead of evil groups was quite refreshing. The plot twists were also well done. Its handling of power-ups deserves a compliment, I appreciate the thinking that went into that. One thing I didn't like was the recruitment phase, it just seemed a bit too easy and convenient for my liking. The series' finale (ep51) also disappointed me a little. It wasn't terrible but it could've been done better especially seeing the rest of the series. There are sequels but I'm uncertain whether I'll give those a try as well. It was a chill end-of-year watch and I'm happy I made the choice to watch it. |
