| MOI WAIFU Nadeshiko has given up her Yuru Camp-ing to go full-on idolship? NANI!? In a word of sense, this show will be my CGDCT of the season and guilty pleasure to just relax and enjoy. The 4 unpopular girls are fun to watch, and the banter is just as hilarious. So this is A3! Idol Girls edition? Yeah, I can take it as is by the settings. Even their song is pretty good, I've gotta say. Using curry as currency, and the too-old Manager Hoho Kajino to guide them through. As if that's not enough, being a model and using boobs for marketing. But Sakura Ino has it through and through the best, being a newbie but setting the standard for the group to follow. A small step that starts a long-term journey, and a good success at that! On that another note, totally feel you... 20 shows this season including carry-overs and I still have to pick up a few (not a lot in comparison to you). | Its a decent moe anime. MC reminds me of another pink haired girl with large bust. Forgot what anime. As if Gochiusa already isn't already adding a lot of sugar of sweetness this season, Fruit Tart adds little more. Shows like this cheers me up in this gloomy life of mine. |
| Started watching this because I'm very familiar with the area that the show takes place. Honestly very surprised with how well they depicted Higashi-Koganei. The show itself is a fun watch. Looking forward to the rest. |
| Ah yes, the five personalities: Pink-haired upstart (lolllll I'm not the only one who immediately thought of Nadeshiko) , stoic purple-hair, blonde rascal, late-arrival smol twintail, and "I'm so bland we're not even gonna pretend I'm here for any reason besides fanservice by introducing me boobs first." On the other hand, this show looks like it's trying to be a parody of idol anime and point out some of the difficulties of the idol industry, and that has a lot of potential... if they can really dedicate to it. Seems the girls are only bad at their jobs when it's convenient for the plot. They just.... randomly strike out into a well coordinated idol routine on the first day despite half of them not being interested in being an idol group...? Right now this show just kinda feels like it's not even confident in its own concept and so it ends up doing the worst thing: complaining about the stupid tropes of idol/CGDCT anime while also doing them. Pass. |

| I almost forgot they are high school students. lol. As students, are they really have time to be idols? But there's no doubt that idol is definitely a young girl's profession. |

| Not bad as a first episode, an anime that doesn't take itself seriously, that dispels certain stereotypes and also shows something that many don't know about Japan. |

| Very cute and fluffy start. Boobs won over the smiles, hehe. Well, I guess that wasn't a very surprising outcome. Ino looks almost identical to Nadeshiko from Yuru Camp. :)  |

I guess, remaining optimistic is the only thing that's left.. At least they have a work now.. Even if it's called not the best.. Maybe it'll eventually lead to more stuff.. Or if anything, maybe they can become comedians.. Or something.. Well.. Will see.. It seems there will be also another main girl.. Looking at OP.. Ah, also, ok.. This is the "position" our producer woman meant.. Well, idol group, different personalities for different target audience, stuff like that.. lol at Ino's "likes: girls" among other things.. ;P Well, they actually are not only performing comedy, but actually are doing idol stuff.. Singing like that.. Oh that's sweet how everyone got to contribute in the best way they can.. ;P They can even be happy about this.. As Roko wanted to play.. So got chance to play role of hurt girl.. Ino and Hayu got to sing.. And Nina.. Well.. She is one, who, I am not sure, if she enjoyed it.. ;D I hope she'll be fine.. Well, she seems like she is of calm temperament, so maybe just enjoying company was enough for her this time.. Enjoyable first episode, will see, how it'll go next.. ;P |
