| We're finally here, a truly epic milestone. Congrats Oda and thank you for all these years. This chapter was classic af and finest Luffy fanservice. The title, the catchphrase, him looking around and the flashbacks he had. To top it off a new combination of gears and haki. If Toei has a good day then this is could be seriously amazing. |

| Incredible chapter. Everything you could've wanted from 1000. Fantastic build up for the 2 final pages where Luffy just slams Koido into the ground as big meme watched helplessly. Now the fights will begin!!! On a side note. Feels kinda insane updating a series chapter/episode count to a 4 digit number |

| Man. Luffy must've been busting hard after seeing his friends on the ground. Not to mention he trained so hard to get where he had to get. Now his Haki improved to punch Kaido. This is going to be fun. Luffy, Kid, Zoro, Law, and Killer. They all ready to rock and roll it out. |
| I don’t wanna be THAT guy... but this chapters just didn’t hit for me for a chapter 1000. Luffy just felt too OP in that moment, and maybe Kaido took that hit cuz he thought it wouldn’t hurt like last time but the Ryo actually damaged him... but then again big mom was like how tf you get hit like that kaido implying she saw the attack coming... i don't know man. Thought there would be more “reveals” than a sentimental build up culminating to that 1 attack. Personally just a bit disappointed for a chapter 1000. |
| And so my binge ends here.. read 999 chapters in 2 weeks for the big 1000 and it was worth it. What a milestone for Oda. Now the weekly wait/breaks starts. Pain. Curious to see how this fight goes as it’s 5 vs 2 but they havent discussed any strategies on how to fight as a team. They’re all competing against each other to deliver the killing blow so I doubt it will be a clean fight. Really eager to see if Oda will dare to take out 2 Yonkos in the same arc. |

| This chapter with MUGIWARA NO LUFFY in title !!!!! Luffy ignore totally the 2 Yonko for is friend Kin'emon, i loved it. Luffy punch Kaido who doesn't understand anything :') Luffy is totally different from their previous battle. Big Mom surprise too But we all know it's just the beginning so very curious to see the battle where we could see nice combo with Luffy, Zoro, Law, Kid and Killer but i don't think they can undle Kaido and Big Mom together |
| I am happy to be born in the age of globalization and internet. Sitting alone in my room and still be able to hype and discuss my favourite manga with thousands of people all around the world. 2020 was not easy, but knowing that every 1-2 weeks a new chapter awaits, really made me happy and kept me going. Let's all try to live a healthy and happy life, so that all of us can witness the end of One Piece. Thanks to Oda, I am happy to be alive. Previously Luffy's armament haki just wasn't on the same scale as Big moms or Kaido's, even at the beginning of Wano. It wasn't so much that Luffy couldn't touch Big mom, Luffy did hit her, Big moms armament haki was just stronger and it sent luffy flying back unconscious. Pretty much same shit with Kaido at the beginning of Wano. Luffy just didn't have armament haki on that tier yet to block Kaido's haki infused rod attack. Physically he was capable of withstanding it and even using haki afterwards even though he was unconscious, just couldn't remain conscious after getting hit which seems to be a common trend when getting overpowered by someone elses haki. A really cool consistency with Luffy's timeskip power level is that he really is a straight up killer with Gear Four activated. His physical traits--strength, speed, stamina, sheer ability to take a hit and keep going--has been top tier ever since he got back onto Sabaody. The difference in every fight/Yonkou clash he's been in has just been Haki and strategy. Hody Jones: Didn't even need Gear Four. Doflamingo: Doffy was completely overwhelmed by Gear Four. Cracker: Luffy struggled with Cracker's Haki, but Gear Four was enough to easily overpower everything Cracker tried to do and was enough to one-shot him. Katakuri: Luffy struggled with Katakuri's Haki, but after leveling up his Armament and Observation (the latter to the point of Future Sight), was easily able to go toe-to-toe with Katakuri even after being exhausted throughout the entire arc and a long, protracted, pre-Future Sight beatdown. Big Mom: Couldn't break through her Haki yet. Kaido: Couldn't break through his Haki yet. It's not as if Luffy is constantly leveling up every single skill and reaching a new "power level" every fight. He was already a physical beast on par with the top tiers, and improving his Haki has brought him firmly up to that tier. Mod Edit: Merged duplicated posts; please use the edit button. |

| First of all congratulations Eiichiro Oda on this remarkable achievement that only a few will ever manage to achieve. Regardless of what happened in this chapter it should be celebrated become One Piece come a long way for this to finally happen. Now speaking about the chapter, the name of it couldn’t have been better. Its truly a perfect choice from Oda. The coolest part about this all is that we finally got to see the main participants of final showdown in Wano, which turned out to be 2 vs 5 type of battle. I did not expect Zoro or Killer of being part of it but now it really starts making sense. Luffy punching Kaido in the end was just pure class moment from Oda, he showed exactly what fanbase wanted to see for quite some time now. Seeing Big Mom a little shocked while witnessing the sight and Luffy shouting that he will become pirate king was just great way to end it all up. Super fantastic chapter this was, again congratulations Oda and thank you for bringing us joy of reading your proudest work |
| Chapter 1000... what a journey this had been. And it seems we are witnessing the final showdown. Luffy's advanced Armanent Haki seems to do a vast difference compared to last time given how it damaged Kaido now. Great powerup and Zoro also wields Enma. Still it's hard to believe that Luffy, Zoro, Kidd, Law and Killer stand a chance against both Kaido and Big Mom. I'm expecting Big Mom to double-cross Kaido somehow later on. Taking down two Yonko now seems quite ambitious tbh. Anyway, really enjoyed this chapter even if it had no revelation like a Rocks flashback or anything regarding Will of D's meaning that the fanbase was expecting. |

| We have finally reached it! CHAPTER 1000 Thank you very much for the decades-worth of chapters Oda-san and for all the experiences it gave me. Every new hundredth chapter in One Piece always showed off something special, and what better to see in this new chapter than for Luffy to drop Kaido down to the fucking floor with a new move before proclaiming of his goal to be the pirate King in 2 giant Yonko. A huge act of disrespect akin to spitting on their faces. Absolutely thrilling! |

Luffy re-announcing his goal after giving a solid hit on Kaidou with his new technique. He totally did it. No turning back now. The most awaited fight of Luffy vs Kaidou + Big Mom starts now. He will win because Luffy is definitely the pirate Oden forecasts, and that will be a huge leap on his road to become the Pirate King. |

| Amazing chapter. I wonder if "Red Rock" is a mistranslation. Red Hawk is a red bird. duh. But there is a mythical bird called "Roc", which is probably like a hawk. So maybe it's "Red Roc". Either way, this chapter definitely lived up to the hype. Walking past Kaido and Big Mom so casually.. Then dodging that attack, and slamming Kaido in the ground with that amazing attack.. I wonder if gear 4th will have a "red" attack too. I am so hyped to see the next chapters and how the fight goes. |
