| anime was FREAKING BLOWMIND! BUT last episode was tootally unsatisfying x.x it missed the climax, I expected better fight and much more of Dante.. but I guess the problem was quick ending. it was obvious you can't end it on 12 episodes only especially this last story took 2 episodes at the end Dante showed up, so one more episode at least for fight was missing. but in all I think kids here should stop bragging about this anime so lowly, cause it's EPIC. for such short series to bring such charisma, good story, badass art, wonderful music, amazing seiyuu cast and just awesome mode. |

| The anime felt like a bit of a poor effort to be honest. Sure, Dante is quite amusing but surely in the games he has more heart than in this?! Fans of the games will probably hate this, but they might not. To each his own, I guess. |
| The only thing wrong with this series, it was way too short. It should have at least been 25 or more episodes long. Can't change that now though, oh well still a great series. Loved every moment of it :) |

| Pretty lovely final episode with some great action that does bring this anime adaptation to a good end! I must say the overall story of this anime adaptation was quite good compared to the game(s)! And well I sure liked it in general. 8/10 |

| This anime only had short action, and a badass MC. That is all it had. 6/10 because I don't rate lower than 6 on my complete list unless I absolutely fucking hated it. |
| Ah Patty, not sure if she's brave or just stupid but I'm glad she got her happy ending. Dante... Dante... the amount of times I yelled "Use your Devil Trigger!!! Dammit" was too much. Still, the anime is alright. |

| I still don't understand how he got out of that underworld, Dante was practically dead there was no logic of Patty saved him. But I don't care he sure slayed that demon too easily, but I guess he was that powerful. And also I am glad Patty came back, I loved her relationship with Dante it was cute like family type. 7/10. |

| IT was an okay show...but you really have to be a fan of the original games to appreciate it I suppose. Too much worrying about the little blonde girl, messing around, lackluster, hollow episodes...5/10 for this show at best. |
| Well... This was a good anime, I really enjoyed it, but it had like almost no plot, the fights were kinda short and sometimes it was pretty boring... But with all that said I really enjoyed it overall, most the badass Dante, maan he is so cool! ^_^ |

| The series wasn't anything special, but as a DMC fan it was a fun enough watch. Now that after all these years they finally threw some references to it into the latest game it feels slightly more noteworthy and less disconnected from the rest of the franchise than it used to. |

| Nothing special about this episode aside from the moments between Patty and her mother. That was sweet to watch. Everything else was just dumb and inexplicable. Pretty poor series for me. 3/10. |
| It was nice for a change to watch this anime.. I liked it a lot personally, because I like Devil May Cry game series a lot.. Anime also maintained the feel of the game.. Dante is a stylish badass and a likeable goof at the same time, and that's what is the main charm of the anime.. ;P I also liked individual stories' characters too.. Drama was nice and interesting.. Overall - quite an enjoyable anime.. ;P |
| This anime was massively underrated, I feel there was so much that could have been done wrong but just wasn't, and that it had so much charm that I could ignore its flaws. 9/10 |
