| It's 100% possible and it's actually my goal since a loong time , I've already reached almost half of it and I'm not talking about OVA's or short-animes or movies no , They're animes yes but I don't count them as finished animes in my list , of course second and third seasons of any anime is excluded also . I'm counting the animes that I finish without their other seasons and of course with some ONA's and short animes but not movies nor OVA's and I tell you it's really possible but you need to adjust and plan what to watch , and not just plan and watch blindly we don't want number to show , we want to enjoy every anime we watch so try as much as possible to watch any anime in the right atmosphere and in the right way , No need to rush , We'll get there eventually :D . |

| Well I'm almost there at 924 completed anime. Then again I watched classic 30s anime which are short 2~15 minute silent episodes plus some music videos and short 80s OVAs and ONA/Specials. I've only seen 6 anime over 100 episodes cause I don't really tend to like long runners as much unless I started watching it as it aired like Black Clover for example. I will be at 9 eventually cause I've been always wanting to watch Fist of the North Star season 1 and Galaxy Express 999 which I think are both good series and I'm 20 something episodes away from completing North Star season 1. The other one is Lupin the Third which I am on episode 26, but I don't know if I will complete this part or move onto part 3 cause from the looks of it these are more one shot episodes than anything resembling a story arc so I might just skip if I get too bored. I prefer my anime to be at least 24~50 episodes for better story progression cause I feel like you can't really tell a good story with only 12 episodes when its an original anime. I think the only anime that is an exception is Angel Beats from what I remember. I would have closer to 930, but all my time is for the new airing shows and Fist of the North Star unless Retro Crush uploads another 30 minute mecha OVA like Metal Skin Panic. I will probably stop counting once I reach my 1,000 anime goal on my profile I'm just curious on what that entry will be. I started watching anime is 2006 so it is possible to reach 1,000 watched anime if you love the medium enough and have a lot of spare time in your earlier years as an anime fan before you become an adult and work takes up most of your time. |

| Not counting sequels, related OVA's/Movies etc, I don't know. Doesn't seem like something that can easily be done without forcing it, though. Not to mention I read Manga and I'm into many other things, too, so who knows. There's not that many great Anime out there anyway, so. At this point I feel like I've seen it all. If anything, one could say I'm on a quest to find an Anime that is a '10' in every aspect. An Anime that is great to watch that doesn't disappoint in any way. An Anime like that has to actually exist, though lol If we are talking 1000 'Entries' then I think I've already surpassed that. | Definitely in my anime phase right now, I mean I watched anime every now and then but up until a few months ago I just ended up watching anime daily. Still haven't consumed as much as most people, but at this rate I'm definitely going to watch around the realm of 300+ anime. So yeah 1000 is quite the stretch for me. Anime is a fun past time, I'm not going to no life the heck out of it. Not trying to trash on the jaded anime watchers with 5000 anime but I'm just saying that's not me |

| It is possible if you are commited enough to the grind. Pacing is varied in each anime watchers. Some hardcore psychopaths can do it in less than a year while some average freak can reach it in 2 years. Here's a tip: Watch as many movies and one-episode OVA's & ONA's as possible. That way you can reach the 1000 mark much more faster. One to two cour (or longer) anime shows will slow you down. |

| I reached it some time ago. My perspective hasn't changed. Except maybe, that I want to always have free access to any and all anime. Watch anime without worrying that I'll run out of torrent sites. I am currently worried, since "Horriblesubs" went and croaked. I feel dejected and frustrated. Watching anime in 1080p from there, the latest ep always available. It hurts not knowing where to go for my fix now. I suppose my perspective has changed in this unhealthy way. |

| It honestly depends on how much anime is still gonna be released in the future, currently I watch around 5-15 new anime each season and barely watch the older ones anymore - im sitting on +- 300 now so if my math is correct and we'll take atleast 10 a season I've to watch +- 10 more years to see 1000 anime. I've been stuck for the past 4-5 years watching anime so its possible and would probably answer - yes. |
| I did it without even trying. Now I don't watch much anything... In reality though, time spent is better measure. I think the numbers stopped going up somewhere after 200 days. I still watch a series or two a year, but I rather play some JRPGs or something than watch long shows. |

| I'm close! though there are some ovas and movies in the mix. So it depends on what length your going for. I have been watching anime for 17 years, and I do go through stages of nothing, to bingeing everything, to rewatching marathons However for me, the more I watch and consume, I feel the further and further I get from my goals. I never really thought of a end dated number. A thing that slows me down, is that typically I watch half a show and hear of another and move on, putting that show on hold. And then I end up rewatching the ones I truly enjoyed, either on my own or trying to engage others with a great show. I think it's not the number you got to but the journey on how you got there. I can say as I've watched through the years, my genres have changed and my reasons for watching anime has too. |

| Hmmm, a good question. If by reach '1,000 anime', you mean 1,000 titles (as in the number shown on our mal watch counters) then I expect to reach that within the next 2 years as I'm already at 500 (looking at mal graph 68% are tv shows, 17% OVA's, 8% Specials..). I'll be quite stoked if I do ever reach 1,00 anime titles on mal. May consider myself an apprentice veteran at that point. |

| I'm including a bunch of short stuff which put me over 1k. I got here by watching anime over the years. There were a few years in a row where I'd practically watch 17-20 airing shows each season. Which is a big difference from how much I watch these days. My perspective on the anime hasn't changed that much though. The first few shows I watched were amazing. It was all new, but you get to the point where anime loses that kind of appeal long before 1k. That isn't to say I don't like any anime anymore, but maybe not as much as I did when I first got into it. |
