| okay, so I just finished it. Really it wasn't that bad. Although the new opening is spoilerish I think it is very interesting to watch. Didn't make it though the ending though. There were some interesting moments in that back telling though. |

| 3/5...I thought the ep was ok. i don't get wut ppl are so mad about.it helps sum ppl to remember wut has happened so far. ok it was a bit confusing and boring got to admit but some weird way i kinda liked it too. and yep the op kinda sucked but it's not like i was a big fan of the previous op either so whatever...^^ and that being said can't wait for the next ep :) |

| Biggest question after watching this episode: How the hell did Pinako shrink to less than half her size? Also, did Winry's dad take the Rockbell name? They're referred to as the Rockbells, so I assumed that Pinako is the maiden name. But it's not. That's weird. Besides that, it's a clever attempt at a recap episode that pretty much butchers context and makes a short stab at the most obvious (and shounen) theme: Humans have endless capabilities as long as they try. Boring. Oh, and we went from exceptional J-pop for the opening and endings to run-of-the-mill, more representative of the industry, shitty J-poop. I really hope they don't try to incorporate these songs the way they did Let It Out. They're real mood killers. They really squandered all the momentum from last week. |

| Useless recap is useless. Do people even have such a short-term memory that they can't remember the plot just 20-some episodes in? Recap episodes always suck and this has been no exception. BTW, I think you guys are better at spoiling that the episode itself. The only thing the episode did was play on Hohenheim's secrecy and aparent apathy toward events. |

| It may have been a recap episode, but it's the best recap episode of any anime I've seen, that's for sure. I also helps to have been watching this weekly since ep. 1. It's a little less fresh that way. |

| I'm clearely in the minority here, but I really liked the OP song, LOVED the OP animation, and was VERY impressed with the episode itself. Honestly, I think it's the best recap episode I remember seeing: it kept me thinking while building strong tension. The ED animation and song... Meh. The non-rap part reminds me a bit of Hamasaki Ayumi's voice, though. |

| This was the first evidence of "Shonen syndrome." Shonen Syndrome is when an anime over 26 episodes long begins to have filler episodes because they tried to go above and beyond an expected plot. I'll still be watching, but they better watch the filler, haha. |

| I don't know if its because it's 3am right now but I had a terrible time following what was going on with this episode. But eh, it was mostly a needless recap, so whatever. Disappointing considering what an excellent run the show has been on lately. Not really feeling the new OP and ED either, but I assume I'll warm up to them. |

| I actually thought it was an awesome idea to do a recap (I mean, we're at the halfway point). It's better than most fillers I've seen since it actually brings it themes and ideas back out (conflict between despair and hope) |

Wee~ Still the same ED : D This was a really great episode considering that there was mostly dialogue and flashbacks in a really confusing array xD Funny though that it was all Hohenheims dream. ! Wat? Oh lawd I though we got to keep the ED, but no, they put in a new one afterwards : ( Clearly not as good as Let it all out, but still, pretty good visuals during the ED ^^ Next episode will most likely be awesome |

| The worst episode as yet, but of course is expected of a recap episode. All though i did think that the whole premise of this series would be that there was no fillers. I would have proffered the small amt of information/backstory of the father be presented in a proper way. |

And since we have no notion of Hoenheim's character, we don't know when this episode took place, let alone that he was developed. You seem to be just as bad as Fai to think the polar opposite of him regardless of the content of the story. What I see in your comment is that you don't pay attention when there is fighting going on. Forget the fact that a lot of this recap went over the fighting, you even go on to say they try to give an "actual" story here. News flash: this is a recap. You should already be painfully aware of a lot of the development that went on during this show. But I guess because it's a shounen, you zone out during the fights which have proven to be the main source of developing characters and plot. Don't be a troll people. If you're unwilling to see the faults or feats of this show you end up sounding like a fool. Saying contrary things that don't make sense furthers that opinion people will have of you. |

| Crap, i was in love with "let it all out" and i don't like this new ending full of Winry ._. The opening is ok, but i still prefered the previous one Recap ep, nothing much to say, except that i don't really get this "Hohenheim, other Hohenheim" thing xD well i think i'll understand someday lol waiting for the next ep! |

| New opening and ending song were very decent. A few part manage to can my attention but overall very decent. I'm not sure why people dislike the second opening but I actually love it. New opening animation was very good but ending one was ok. As for this episode, it confuse me until it is reveal that it's all just a dream. And a very weird one too. A recap dream and only a few new content. Can't believe there are still many people rate love for this episode. I'm one of those that think recap episode are completely useless and waste of time, not matter how long a series is/are. Would prefer a week break than having a recap episode though. |

(Part when I was feeling so sad for Hohenheim while noglasses-Hohenheim was "talking" to him until LET IT OUT faded in for the last time 'til the episode ended) Then the crap ED sequence & song came out... :'/ (does BONES love Winry that much? Srsly? lawl) I like LilB (or whatever) but this song was BAD. D: The OP however at first wasn't so good but as soon as the song came to middle 'til the end, it was actually pretty good and I didn't mind it. Might even like it later on. Anyways...can't wait for the next ep. When is dear Kimbley gonna come out? >.< So sad Greed had to die quickly as soon as he came out...but then Moar action-y fun on the next ep. Can't wait! :'3 |

| Am I the only one who liked this episode even tough it was a bit of a recap? I think it was kind of funny how he remembered the old days from a booze bottle. Maybe I liked it because I've read the manga. |
| this episode was okay, i was at first really confused when pinako mentioned human transmutation and him saying a sin is a sin and other things. in the end it was just a dream but it was an interesting way to do the recap this way. nevertheless in my opinion this recap was not necessary not because recaps are boring or so. the main reason is why i don't really like recap and why they are unnecessary is, i have to wait for the actual episode a week longer and that's a pain in the ass <.< i am really an impatient person, also i thought they would show a little bit about hohenheim's past, how he met trisha and other stuff, so i was a little bit disappointed with this episode =/ |

| I liked the 2nd ED better. And as for the OP, I feel like they keep getting worse. =/ Yui was the best, the 2nd OP wasn't bad, but this one isn't that good... Blah recaps. Skipped most of the recaps and just watched the Hohenheim parts, which still weren't anything special. |

I pretty much think the same. As for ED's, 2nd was best, then 1st, and then this I suppose. OP's, Yui is clearly the best, 2nd was decent, but this 3rd ain't half-bad either. |

| It was excellent for a recap episode. The new OP & ED are both great. Animation and soundtrack is still as awesome as always. Next episode looks great. |

| Pointless episode was kind of pointless, but I'm used to it from recap episodes in other series so it didn't bother me that much. Loli!Trisha made me smile. Love the new OP. My boyfriend and I literally yelled "YEEESSS" at the same time when Buccaneer and Miles popped up. XD We then proceed to replay the Olivier/Briggs part of the OP about ten times before continuing on with the episode. Needless to say, I am excited. Lol at the spoiler with the Homunculi in the beginning. Yeah, I know he's getting turned like next episode, but still a spoiler. :X |
