What opening/ending did you dislike at first, but enjoyed it after watching it a few more times?

I've had this experience with Flashback, the opening of Kokkoku, and Cruel Angel's Thesis, the opening of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Although I didn't like them at my first watch, I started enjoying both of them after watching them a few more times. They are currently one of my favorite anime openings of all time.

I'm curious to see if any of you have ever had that kind of experience.

Hmm... maybe the 1st OP of JoJo P4 because it was a 2D OP unlike it's predecessors, I didn't like that at 1st but it actually fits the 90s feeling of P4 well.
Gundam The 08th MS Team OP, I've been re-watching lately and and with each watch I'm liking it more and more.
Those are the only 2 that came to my mind.

Assassination Classroom first time: cringe
dozenth time: YEAAAAAAAH

Same with Kaiji, it was meh, but then I started singing with it. Mirai wa Bokurano te no naka.

One of the biggest cases is definitely One Piece Opening 12. I had to rewatch the entire anime to get used to it, so basically it took me 60+ times to finally start enjoying it. Now it's one of my most favorite One Piece openings, the sense of rise and peace, yet fall from said peace is fucking amazing and is truly an underrated One Piece opening. When your ear isn't used to the song, you think "omg the tone doesn't fit Impel Down & Marineford", but the key is not in the tone, but the instrumentals, and how the vocals very so slightly match with it. Once again, great sense of rise (Impel Down) and fall (Marineford) to describe the events of it all.

I would say the second OP of Enen no Shouboutai. It's not that I hated it, but it took some time for me to actually enjoy it.

For me it was many of the Jojo openings. I used to skip them in the beginning, however, now I miss them after finishing Jojo, because they were quite catchy.

I am pretty sure there was a same question a while back and I answered with Kaiji S2 OP.
The first reason is because Kaiji S1 already had a great OP and it was less generic than Kaiji S2 OP. The second reason is Kaiji S2 has this super catchy ED, so OP was kinda overshadowed.

I wasn't sold on the Houseki no Kuni OP at first, but over time in grew on me. I also found a video talking about how the song is actually kind of cool from a musical theory point of view.

When I first heard Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Diamond is Unbreakable I didn't like the opening but I didn't skip it. The more I listened to it the more I enjoyed it.

After so many years of wait, I thought the Attack on Titan S2 ending was really lame. Now I think it really fits the feel of that whole mystery arc really well.

I thought it was mediocre and way worse than the first, but they use during fights on the anime so many times and so well it became like my favorite Japanese song ever

Finally found someone like me! Most people seem to like the opening just from the first watch.

One Punch Man OP 2 is straight fire, but when I first listened to it, it just didn't feel hype enough. Now, I just like to screech and grumble along with it

Death Note opening 2. I mean it was super weird at first but now it is pretty catchy.
Seijaku no Apostole. I mean at first it was worse than OPM op 1 but now I think it is better

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Opening 4 - Sono Chi no Kioku.
The reason is, I was tired of all that ORA ORA ORA at the anime, and even the opening comes with more (part 3 is my least favorite). But one day when I was listening to my playlist and this OP was the only one lacking from JoJo, I gave it another chance and now I really enjoy it.

XxxHolic opening 1. The song was strange but with the visuals and all it became one of my favourites. Wish they released another season or a continuation.

I forgot to mention that. I had the same experience with the opening. It's quite catchy in itself, but some of the lyrics can be misheard which makes the OP even more entertaining.
