| Well, to me, not so much. I just watch stuff I find interesting, so what if it's on top 10! But I'll get really happy when/if any anime I like gets up to top 10! It can mean that a lot of people watch it and appriciate it! ^_^ |

| Hate... Hate is overrated on MAL... Just because a handful of brats start to moan about shit being popular does not mean anything. For an anime to get into top 10 it need to get a lot of appreciation. The first 4 anime got over 1 million of viewers each, and FMA Brotherhood got over half a million 10's. Meanwhile, it got like 4600 scores of 1 from haters, and lot's of those are trolls and bots. So yeah, the power of haters amounts to nothing, because the majority of peoples do not waste their time and energy hating what others enjoy. Or look at SAO, the Justin Bieber of anime - its the 3rd most popular anime on MAL, despise it being virtually the most hated... so is it truly hated? It got 1,6 million viewers, half of them gave it scores above 7, +200k 10's, meanwhile the haters - 16578 scores of 1 ... so 1,4% of the whole viewer base... Actually, all the scores bellow 4, barely amount to 10% of the viewers. That's what the most hated anime of the past decade amounts to - 10%. So haters don't matter at all. When Attack on Titan aired and got popular, there where haters at the time that moaned that it was overrated or trash ... yet Attack on Titan is the anime that put anime into mainstream - a masterpieces that would live trough generations. Does the fact that JimWhoLivesInHisParentsBasement and NoName McGee argued that its overrated in 2014, matters in any way? Nup. I saw someone mentioned Kimetsu no Yaiba... That one got really popular too, it trended number one on Twitter... do the few haters matter compared to the countless who got their mind blown by the mind blowing animation? Nup. Personally I feel bad for those guys... So let's be serious. Is pointless to bother with haters. Why does top 10 matters? And does it matter? Yes. Because it's rare for a new anime to get there, the ones at the top are behemoths. Personally I can't even imagine an anime taking 1st place from FMA. |

| Not really, because caring about it is what leads to the dumbass people that think they're doing gods work by review bombing shows that compete with their favorites, and I'd rather openly wear an ahegao shirt before I associate with those people. I'm sure there are people that care about the top 10 that aren't as vitriolic, but damn are they the tiny minority. |

| Depends on what you mean by caring about it. I dont think a definitive list of anything exists. Its all relative after all. However, I do like looking through it for stuff to watch. |

| Not really since I'm not looking to watch anything longer than 30 eps and I couldn't get through March Comes in like a lion S1. As for the others..Steins gate was alright after taking a few episodes to kick into overdrive. Your name was ok. AOT S3 P2 deserves it's spot since it's basically the payoff season of it's series, and it really payed off well. A silent voice is a good movie, but I didn't expect it to be in the top 10. |

| Nope. It's weird to say this, since I watch top 10 videos all the time (mostly out of curiosity and boredom), but I have no idea why people are so obsessed with what's in the top 10. I mean, seriously, people make fake accounts just to keep certain series from losing their spots. It's kinda sad. And the fact that people will give you shit just because a lot of your favorites are in the top 100 is equally as sad. God forbid your opinions match up with the majority every once in a while.... |
