i really prefer reading in the night. the slower pace of the day at that time enables me to absorb and conceptualize texts a lot better. my mind is more active during the day and wants to actually do stuff so it’s hard for me to concentrate on reading at this time.

my mind opens up at night. i love it

i've started reading at night lately but more than anything just to break the habit of looking at a screen on right before i sleep. but it is also a good time of day as far as absorbing what i read until i get too tired.

After midnight because the complete silence helps me relax and I can enjoy the book in the way it was meant to be.

For me it's either right in the morning or at night right before I go to sleep.

I generally don't during the day, although I probably should instead but I get distracted really easy.

If I do read a book (which is a rarity nowadays, actually), I'll just do it when I feel like it. I never feel obliged to do things in certain times of the day just for convenience, unless it's some uncontrollable variable.

I tend to read my LNs at night when I'm trying to wind down and sleep. Most weekdays I work the night shift so I don't get the time to read during the day. I find that night time is when I am least physically active, so I read then.

During my commute to work

I'm too mentally exhausted at night to read. I like to take my time and think deeply about what I read

Usually it's right before bed, but if I have some spare time during the day with nothing else to do then I'll pull out a book.

Reading in the evening after the work day is just a whole different vibe for me.

After a long hard day of work, if you use public transportation putting on headphones and reading is pretty relaxing. Or reading at home in the evening in general is just relaxing in general.

I usually read on the tram/bus/metro on my way to wherever I'm going and that's why I take ages to finish a book these days.

In the late evening or at night under my bedsheets. That's very comfortable and calming.

I don't like reading books. As far as I remember, I barely finished reading one book in my entire life. It took me a few weeks to do so. Nowadays I rarely even read a manga or a webtoon. Reading is just not my thing.

I used to read at night but just couldn't get myself into it lately because tired from works. So just during holidays or my time at works but I always got annoyingly disturbed.

I usually leave it for the night to get the best experience out of the book/manga with little to no distractions. I can get distracted easily during the day by my family and the occasional noises outside

I usually read at work where I'm bored out of my mind and have nothing better to do (I just watch a store that gets only a few customers most of the time). Lately though I've been taking a break from reading to draw more artwork for Inktober.

Reading at night with utmost tranquility and consciousness in mind would be optimal.

I used to read on the bus on my way to college every morning and then when I was heading back home every evening.
Nowadays, I don't take the bus anymore ( less books get read ;A; ), so I end up reading before bed IF I'm reading a book.

At this point there is no regular time, just when I get the chance and take advantage. But I will refer to when I was reading on a more regular basis, which is right before bed. I'll admit once I bought a house the layout didn't really allow me to have a lamp to read at night so I either have my bedroom light on or dark as pitch with the tv on.
