| Sadly, there's a lot of animes that don't deserve their OP : - Tokyo Ghoul:re S2 - Revisions - Boruto (and the endings are even better) - Arifureta - Domestic na Kanojo - Elfen Lied and Goblin Slayer (they're "good" animes but way too edgy, while their op are nice) - Fairy Tail - One Punch Man S2 - Persona 5 - Fairy Gone - Sword Art Online It's however nice to see openings are often good, even for bad or average animes |

I was actually watching the series while it was airing. So as for me and many others who watched it weekly, we were very disappointed towards the end of the series; though it was something we all saw coming. Despite the anime being a popular garbage anime, it was still a entertaining and funny. Not like enjoying a comedy, for example, Konosuba. But more like laughing at why this show exists. |
| I wouldn't say "doesn't deserve", but in terms of simply having a mismatch between OP-implied and actual content... * Chivalry of a Failed Knight -- suggests that the story will be gritty or have a noir-ish feel or something along those lines. The story does kinda go in this direction late in the series, but early on, the characters act in very silly ways. * Sky Girls -- the OP is a MELL song that implies tons of action. The show is more like slice-of-life, honestly. |
