| I've actually only read up through Battle Tendency in Jojo so I'm actually going into this part blind. I did not expect it to be so good, so fast. Then again, no show with a half-british half-japanese kujo in it has ever steered me wrong. That "I can put whatever I want in your mouth" line, that's gonna find some use on the ol' internets I suspect. Space fishing was puzzling, to say the least. Boarding School Juliet had my kind of fanservice. Fairy Tail was pretty much what I expected except with more idols. I rated the first episodes in our simulwatch Ms. Vampire > UzaMaid > Bloom Into You so of course the general MAL public has them in the opposite order (Ms. Vampire's score is a disgrace, what is wrong with people, how can you hate sophie) Still left to get to: Index 3, Namoris, Kirara Cheerleading, Gakuen Basara, SAO, probably more, who knows. Can Uma Musume stay in the year's top 10? Would me from ten months ago be mortified by this question? |

| Alright left off post Himote House SAO - This may be blasphemy in the cute girls doing cute things club but maybe adding a second major male character will improve it? I still feel like all of the female characters outside the incredibly easy on the eyes Asuna are just superfluous, optional interchangeable RPG party members. I don't know how Alice is going to be any different. Maybe the second dude will help. Maybe Kohirumaki should make an appearance so I feel like there's a payoff for sitting through that freaking GGO alternative. Bonus: You can't mess up a show that has an Alice and a Karen in it. Bunnygirl Senpai: Workable show, the male lead will probably end up greatly irritating me down the line but hasn't yet. Female lead has an interesting conundrum on her hands that they actually do a good job of going over. Getting ignored at dunkin donuts would be the death of me. Akanesasu Shoujo: Not cute, but not bad? I enjoyed the first episode at least, in a rare instance where MAL's grade is lower than mine. Nothing compared to Gakuen Basara though! I had a ton of fun here, but I don't know if they can keep this up for 12 episodes, it might have been better as a standalone OVA or two. We'll see. Release the Spyce: Fell flat, honestly - it got exciting at the end, and if it's mostly ninja spy action from here on out we can forget this first episode pretty quick. Could definitely see this moving up in the world next week. Index III: Mostly laid back prologue of vol. 14. Have generally enjoyed this series outside of the titular Index but she's a legacy character for a lot of this upcoming stuff. Vol. 15 is probably my favorite in the entire series. Soon! Anima Yell: Fell victim to the most common manga time kirara trope where it takes three episodes to introduce four characters and then is workable until the end. Kohane had moments where she was kind of unpleasant but more moments of that too-dumb-to-live manga time kirara protagonist charm. It took me only 10 minutes to remember her name, that's some kind of record. The cheerleader faces looked super off, maybe they'll fix that on the bluray. Uki can stay also. Looking forward to having this as a simulwatch! |

The second half, being the musical number, in part reminded me why I haven't watched the majority of these shows. It's tough sitting through an idol anime when you generally do not like idol music. To this day I think 2011 IMAS is the only one that's really nailed this and even that went way too heavy on the drama in the second half. |

| Can't decide if I like Momo or Yuki better. This is +1 point for Yuki but this is +2 points for Momo it's kind of unfair, she licks people all the time so she will win for sure! Maybe I should give more points to the moe gap from Yuki. This is truly a quandary. |
