Cute art style with heavy morbid elements, likely making it "borderline" by club standards.
On the way home from school one day, Konoha Koga rescues Satoko Kusagakure, a ninja who escaped her village. Soon, pursuers from the village show up in search of Satoko only to be deftly dealt with by Konoha. As it turns out, the unassuming high schooler is actually an assassin. Thus, the potentially cutthroat cohabitation of a ninja and an assassin begins!
Another likely borderline show, due to having toxic characters.

Wait what, How did I miss Food for the Soul!?!? Did it got announced for the spring season yesterday? Because not that long ago I was pretty sure I checked most of the seasonal animes and I did not see that one...
After a few seasons weak on CGDCT, this seems to be a pretty stacked season. Will be watching all but Maebashi Witches (will reconsider at the end of the season) and AIPRI (i do want to watch it in a future). Also 300 max slime I will wait until I rewatch S1, too much time has passed between seasons
Highest expectations for mono and ninja assasins. And now also food for the souls now that I know it exists (new non non biyori author anime!!!). If you also count it as a pure CGDCT, then also 300max slime, it has been ages since we got in a single season so many pure CGDCT shows!!!
also pretty interested in Once Upon a Witch's Death, the worldbuilding could be interesting in this one
I will also say this season we have PriOrche, magical girl anime of the types of precure, as a maybe CGDCT anime. Villains do seem to be all boys
Overall, really strong season for the CGDCT. We have had not a season this strong since years ago, I would not be surprised even if post 2020 to be the strongest
Thist last few years it has been really rought for the genre. But with 4 pure CGDCT this season, and a minimun of 2 already announced for the next season, could we be seeing a strong return of the genre?!
