If it was only about pornography, then it can be a little more understandable, and it seems that's what OP is referring to with the image. However, if it's about a relationship instead of just pleasure/lust, then it is a bit sad that people here do not want to embrace reality but actually stay in a fictional world when it comes to such an important issue. Then again, it's human nature to want what one can't have, I suppose. And since '2D' girls will never become real, the want will always be there.

I pretty much agree with you, Tachii, although i can see a little bit where the 2D lot are coming from. However, in a few hundred years or so, i suspect there will be a bit of a challenge to the last part of your post, if things don't go to shit too much, with virtual reality becoming significantly more 'real'.

Seems hikikomori is pretty common on MAL.
Anime/manga is a hobby, a very good on of the kind I'd say
... but something's horribly wrong with you if it is > Reality.

2D girls can't really do much more than /pose for you, can they?
Whereas 3D is real, can return feelings and act from those.

What 2D is good for is entertainment and for when playing with yourself (of course I wouldn't know anything about that *cough*)

... Even if I took time to write alot of intelligent words of deep thought and meaning in my signature, would you really care to read and comment on it? ...
