Jesus Christ, Mieru can be so annoying with her DARLING. I really hope the pacing picks up again especially with characters like Yuri soon to be involved. (probably)

Was nice to see Constellar this episode again though. I used to play a deck that revolved around it. Yuuya's next duel should be interesting :>

this was not as good as the last episode but it was fine. so next episode is yuya dual. well i hope it will be only one episode and we will back to the plot soon

Didn't expect Mieru and Yaiba to be defeated so easily. Makes me wonder what decks their opponents used. Considering that they didn't show the monsters, it becomes obvious that one of the main characters will fight the Ninja at some point.

Kachidoki seems to fight with his fists instead of his monsters, so this next duel should hopefully be interesting. Seems that only one of the LDS trio made it to the next round?

Not much happened in this episode overall, but there was a some nice exposition.

so im thinking the person who was outside the room sora was in is the fusion yuzu, and we also glimpse ruri (xyz yuzu) and i think hyuugo is looking for synchro yuzu.

thats a pretty extreme way to duel, that guy, its like the people in 5ds who tries to ram.

i liked how they changed the opening scences a bit with showing yuzu and fusion yuzu and also yugo dragon and not his shadow and also yuri face

Really interested in the new mysterious girl featured in the newly edited OP and a brief scene of her spying in Academia. Hope they show more of her.

Also, seeing Yaiba to be defeated by a couple of fists is way unexpected. Isao strong.

After the last episode was very dramatic and emotionally, we get a little breath, a little bit of comic relief from Mieru.

We get a new opening, and the we see the darken evil looking kid was Yuri, Fusion world's version of Yuya. And we see another world's version of Yuzu, who is she? Well more on that later.

Mieru did sort of ruin a nice emotional moment at the begin, though it was clever how Yuzu and Yoko got rid of her. To bad we didn't get to see her duel. Meanwhile the Shivers went down at the hands of Reira. So things are moving fast in this tournament.

Meanwhile in the Fusion world, Sora is still going crazy, he has done a complete 180 with his out of control emotions, meanwhile we see this girl that looks Like Yuzu. Who is she, is she a brain washed Ruri or the Fusion world's version of Yuzu, well we will soon find out. I could go either way on that.

Back to the tournament and Mieru is just nuts, poor Hokuto, Yuya just ignored him. Anyway Yuya wants to talk to Shun and get answers, well he is probably have to wait till the finals to get to that.

We are finally at the end of the first round, and Yaiba dueled with this ninja kid Isao Kachidoki, and Isao just pounds him, didn't look like a dual, it is like Isao thought this was a fighting tournament like in Dragon Balls or Naruto, and I was shocked when they took Yaiba out on a strecher, this Isao is no joke, but he has got some issues and he is Yuya's next opponent, I know Yuya got a lot on his mind, but he better get his head in the game, or he might be joining Yaiba in the hospital. I like Isao, I don't like him putting people in the hospital, but I like the character, reminds of Garra or Neji, one of the Chunin exam antagonists.

I was kind of disappointed that we didn't get more of reaction from Gongenzaka, I mean Yaiba helped him train and I am sure Gogenzaka was looking forward to dueling him and finally settling the score, I know that was suppose to be more about Yuya and his reaction, I am sure if that was Masumi, I guarantee you Yuzu would give a emotional reaction.

Next week, can Yuya open Isao's heart and teach him the heart of dueling? If he does that would be a quick face turn. Really enjoyed this episode, maybe not as much as episode 36 and 37, but still Arc V continues to not disappoint.

Clear Wing, Yuri and Fusion Yuzu (that's Osiris Red uniform) enter the OP. We have setup episode again this week. Sad that Mieru lost but her appearance alone in this episode is enough for me.

Anyway next week Yuya ideal will be tested again in the duel. And it look like something interesting will happen on Pendulum mechanic. Maybe scale manipulation or card with different left and right scale will appear.

Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.

People it is yugioh, they always have like a block of plot and then 10 episodes of random duels and scenes. Don't expect this thing to go super fast, they never do (although I give credit to YuGiOh 5D's, they balanced it pretty well in comparison to others). But this plot is really interesting and Ruri is now in standard with I guess Fusion MC. I definetly would appreciate it if it continued with the plot and doesn't make too many 2 episode duels but I don't expect them too

My theories on the Yuzu look a like

1) She is a brainwashed Ruri

2) Ruri proves Yuto wrong that that she would use Fusion if it can take down their enemy, and she is just waiting for her chance to strike.

3) She is not Ruri, she is the Yuzu from Fusion world.

From what I saw in the preview I predict:
*Yuya will awaken his dark side and reverse his scales to Pendulum summon his Odd Eyes, then Xyz summon Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon w/o Odd Eyes as material.
Either way, his way of dueling will be changed.

I actually expected Yuya to duel Yuzo Tanegashima and Gongenzaka to duel Kachidoki, but it ended up being reveresed. Well, at least I got Yuzu vs Mikiyo Naname right.

Yuya vs Kachidoki looks interesting, and I bet that Kachidoki lost to Reiji last year, considering that Kachidoki was the runner-up.

Man, I want Yuya to talk with Kurosaki. And I want to see Yuri and his dragon as soon as possible. The spoiler for episode 40 looks very interesting.

I mean... dafaq man? I'm even suprised that Yuuya said that: "I will change the way you duel", BUT Yuuya-san, this isnt dueling, this is Street Fight/Tekken!!!
For this Episode ill go with WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPNED HERE & please someone kill him in the name of Synchro! as a Scrap, Junk Synchron and an Infernity Duelist!

So we start off this episode with an annoying Mieru...great. Though it's funny that Yuzu and Yuya's mom seem to give off a GTFO aura XD

I believed that Yuzu look-alike is a brain-washed Ruri or the pawn of fusion that Yuto spoke about because she seems pretty suspicious to me, especially when she's in the Fusion Dimension, smirking at a desperate Sora. OR that she is Ruri on a secret spy mission to scout out information about her enemy! :D

Holy crap! How dare that Kachidoki brat beat up Yaiba! I was really looking forward seeing Yaiba's duel too! I know that there's no rule in using violence but still, that is just too cruel, especially for innocent duelists who are expecting a friendly, doki-doki duel.

The OP looks so much better without those shadows. Don't tell me Yuya diappears whenever that Otherworld Yuzu would be near him.

well you wrong by the summery of episode 40 and 41 it will have more plot

This is the second time they didn't show the shiver kid duel. Why? Because he has NO personality. He's just an annoying kid with nothing to him but a dumbass catchphrase.

They spent a lot of this episode recapping the last. Not much happened but I hope to see Kurasaki duel soon. He keeps this show alive for me.
