All other dishes pale in comparison to the almighty curry. Curry is obviously the supreme meal, and every other dish only exists to make you think "this pasta is good, but it's no curry." |

| I love curry (especially Indian, haven't had a Thai one in ages), but since I went to Japan I don't say all curry is good curry anymore. Once in the boonies some locals made their curry with only weird stuff like coffee, no tumeric, etc. Added to the low temperature/butter roux combo typical of Japanese curry (which I'm not a fan of, curry shouldn't be a stew imo), you get the worst curry I had in my life. Like how can you even fail at curry? It's like failing at pasta, it shouldn't be possible. |

All you gotta do is cut some carrot, cauliflower, potato, throw it in a pot with some oil, sear for a few minutes, add a curry paste of your choice, add coconut milk, let it simmer for an hour or so. | Well, I like a lot of good from all kinds of culture but Chinese foods are some of my favorites. But I agree that curry are some of the best foods out there. I've tried Indian and Indonesian curry before and they were full of flavors that was enjoyable to eat. Wouldn't mind eating one right now because I haven't had one in a while... |

| Is Butter Chicken a type of curry? You make such a strong argument that it's hard to deny it is multipurpose so it won't get dull over time. If i had the organisation i would start making it weekly. That being said on my deathbed i am asking for roman meatballs and nothing more. |

| Good curry is good. But sometimes you get curry that is incredibly underwhelming. I like my curry to be very spicy (by most people's standards) and most just don't cut it. On the other hand, curry in rice only works if the curry is sweet (like Japanese curry) and if the rice is sticky (so the curry doesn't turn the rice into a watery mess). |

| I really love curry, but a lot of my friends don't like to go out for curry or just don't like it. Like seriously, it's starting to become one of my favorite dishes. I've tried Indian, Japanese, and Thai curry and want to try more. Meanwhile, I used to dislike rice; my parents would cook rice nearly every day and cook a little something to put over it (soul food type of things). I grew to dislike it rice. Now that I've had curry, I've started looking at rice differently and have starting putting anything that's even little like curry on top of my rice (or in). It's been an adventure. Thanks curry! |

| Being eating curries my entire life and I don't get bored with it. I've only had Japanese curry once, it was a veg version with potatoes but I loved it the most, more than Indian ones I'm used to. Ready made curry pastes aren't sold anywhere near where I live and making curry actually takes the longest time compared to other common dishes. But I guess people usually just refer to anything with a watery consistency made with spices as curry. |
