| This is pretty obvious but watch out for spoilers. Below I'm gonna talk about Dusk Maiden of Amnesia and Beyond the Boundary, so if you don't want them spoiled, don't read on. Anyway, rant over, what are some of the cheapest endings you've seen in an anime. I'm not talking about bad endings, where it was just not good. I'm talking about endings where they deliberately cheapen the show just to bring back a character for instance. Even Gurren Lagaan had some cheap moments in its finale, but I don't consider it a bad ending. |

| Eh, the first thing that comes to mind is Code Geass honestly. Although 2nd season was a pretty hard trainwreck to watch overall, I felt that the ending (well, pre-ending I guess) was pretty decent. Then we got that carriage ride that just pissed on everything, really, and had fanbase deal with their raging boners over who's right and who's wrong... |
