He obviously does genuinely care for Casca it's just he's always teetering on the edge of insanity because he kind of has to in order to protect her. Not to mention, leaving her in the past clearly hasn't worked out so I too think it's ultimately best for him to be with her. But the beast is ever a concern, yes. |
