| If the premise intrigues me I'll give it a go. Especially if the fan base is big/active (interacting with other fans/fan works is a big part of enjoying a series to me). I don't necessarily trust ratings that much nor the opinions of my anime watching friends. |

| It depends on its argument , I don't judge things based on a friend's opinion or Mal , I just look at the arguments of the anime I'm interested in , and if I think it's good enough , I give it a try , for example , people were throwing shit to Re:zero but I thought it had a good argument , so I gave it a try , after 10 episodes I dropped it , it just wasn't for me . |
| It really depends. If it has hentai or ecchi then I'm out. If the plot is compelling and has great character development then yeah I would watch it. I will only drop a show if the plot isn't going anywhere. I also would check out the reviews and from what the majority thinks of it. If it gets bad rep then I would not watch it. |

| Anything rated under a 6 i tend to stay away from although once i start a show it's highly unlikely that i drop it (even if it's shit) unless there are 100+ episodes that i'd have to watch which is why i think that people who drop anime after the first episode or so are pussies unless the anime is boku no pico. |

| Honestly no, I always want to go into an anime at least believing ill enjoy it I always do some research beforehand and make sure its something that appeals to me hence my quite high ratings. If I can no longer be bothered to continue watching I have no problems with dropping, however while im no 'completionist' id rather not drop anime so im always hesitant to start lower rated anime. I have seen a few in the low 7's and enjoyed them but perhaps that's not low enough... |

| idk, i mean, i like to add completed animes to my list, so even if i hate it ill try my best to complete it in order to add it. although sometimes it can just be so bad i cant, thus another gets on my dropped list. but i do try my best to avoid genres i dont like. like mecha or horror. sometimes i do youtube amvs just to see how it looks like and see if theres anything that spikes an interest. it really helps. its a little spoiler but it allows you to really be able to judge whether youll like it or not imo. |

| I know an anime is bad if it's not LoGH, but I watch it anyway so I can give it a 1 with credibility. Once in a blue moon, my expectations of a 1/10 will be exceeded by a few shows like Monster, Gankutsuou, and Ergo Proxy which I would generously give a 5. |
