The edgyness of a character is usually connected to a struggle or fixation in their minds. Once that and all other struggles/fixations are resolved, the edgyness is resolved with it and the character will start to change. Sasuke didn't completely stopped being edgy though. He doesn't hold hatred anymore but he's kept that overly serious and slightly dismissive demeanor of his, which are traits of edgyness. For a character to keep "hatred" there must be something to hate, that's only logical. |

| You gave the MC from Masamune as an example of an "edgy" character? That is an inaccurate use of term which is now a buzzword. I'd probably mention Todoroki Shoto from My Hero Academia but in the end he's just stoic in nature much like Sasuke. |
