| Does anyone slow down their video on VLC when they're watching anime? I find it very useful to enjoy anime better. Mars of Destruction is a good series, but it's even better when I can slow down the show to understand the complex scenes in it. Also, it helps waste time. After 1 episode, I only have 1% of my time, and after 300 episodes... well you get the point. I like watching anime slowed down at 0.25 because: 1. It helps you understand better what the characters are saying 2. If you think the anime is too short you can make it longer 3. You can read all the subtitles if you miss some 4. You can analyze better animation frames 5. You can tell your mom you're watching another episode before going to bed What do you think? |

| I have enough anime to watch already so there's not point in watching anime at a quarter the speed taking 4x the amount of time I should be taking. Garbage idea, 1/10, try again later. I also don't like the idea of speeding up anime, though. The producers made the anime in the way they want it to be watched. If you watch it in your own stupid way you won't get out of it what they wanted you to. |

| I also suggest this new revolutionary anime watching way: watch the top half and bottom half of the video separately. This way you will be able to better focus on the details of each of the half. This is opposite to the heretics who watch 2 episodes on 2 monitors. |

| I think the dialouge is too slow and isn't good idea to slow down the speed for new series likes now (2010 or up) BTW i rather going for normal speed because i can do that benefit all in normal speed |

| IIRC, the TV aired anime actually speeding their airing to give more sapce for ads.... so most of illegals tv rip we saw actually faster than how it should be... i can't confirm this thou, since i got this in internet forum too... however, i usually does slower the play too in 2 condition > the dialogue is soo fast, i have no time to read sub... my recent example is saiki > to appreciate sakuga animation... nichijou for example... |
