| I'm going to start posting on here because the community of /r/Anime is abysmal. Like most of reddit, everyone is hyper sensitive. Don't you fucking dare say one negative thing about the anime "community" being retarded, or you will be lambasted by neckbeards until your computer overheats. Saying one negative thing about a popular series is a posting death sentence there, as it's all one great big circle jerk of everyone agreeing with each other on everything and ass slapping. Worst of all, they almost all have what I refer to as "nerd arrogance", where they are extremely elitist about what shows are good to "true anime fans". It's kind of like a guy legitimately talking down to someone like they are inferior to them as a person since they are better at Magic The Gathering. I hope that this is a better place, where I can bitch about things and not drown in the tears of teenage SJW snowflake crybabies. |

Well, i'm in my twenties and just got into anime this year, so I basically watch a lot of older stuff and not currently airing / recently aired shows. Unfortunately, this means I really like a series and want to discuss it, only to have people not give a shit. Sort of like when I watched GTO recently. |
