| Gije? Damn! Just when I had really started to like Gije's character, he dies. Well, I'm glad that he at least got his wish to see the true power of Ide. Sheryl is probably going to be a basket case now. Ideon split a planet in half? Wow! I don't think I'd want to be responsible for something with that kind of power. | Tomino from what I've seen (which is only 3 mech shows from '79-'83 so it isn't much) almost only does romance for cheap emotional contrast before killing someone off and it's so god damn predictable. I guess Sheryl and Lin really were sisters. Huh. |

| A great episode overall between far better backgrounds than before, good scenery/direction, drawings looking better than usual, and even noticeably better animations .... Sheryl's case becomes clearer as well: it's not Rin's death as much as the overall pressure of the situation she's stucked in that affected her. But how am I supposed to make sense of Gije's death?! (without considering the need to spare money by firing actors) 5/5 The ship's radar traces funny things: Char Aznable, Kai Shiden, Frau Bow, Mirai Yashima, Sayla Mass. |
| excellent episode rip gije, he was a decent person towards the end, I always thought Kasha will bite the dust before him. Sheryl lost her sister and her lover. Also, behold this beautiful angel sleeping |

| What an absolute blast. The Ideon is so fucking powerful. Gije's death was very sad, just like Lin's. You can say he deserved it for all his past actions but still, Sheryl definitely loved him towards the end. |
| Wait how did Gije die lol ? I'm not sure if I really missing something or not here. Tomino straight up killing off the members one by one each episode so far. Gije is the most developed character in the show by far so that's a good thing. |
