| Wow. I honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy this show so much, but I did! Keijo saving anime is no longer just a meme, it's true! I loved how well the fanservice is implemented. And I really appreciate that the butts are used more often than the breasts. I guess the author actually did some research before coming up with the sport. I mean, when I was reading the synopsis, I couldn't stop thinking about how much it'd hurt to slam my breasts onto someone. I also love how this is almost a straight-up battle shounen with its over-the-topness. Very good comedy too. I also like the main cast a lot, as they're already so much easier to relate to than other sports anime characters I've seen. I guess that's because this is my first all female sports anime, but Keijo is truly amazing. |

| I was expecting only fanservice, but this episode was really entertaining. It's nice to see that the fanservice is not always the main story of an anime. I like the girls personalities so far. Keijo seems to be a violent sport, I hope everyone will survive ^^ |
| Expected a cheap ass ecchi show but I got so much more. Cast is funny and the battle scenes look like some actual effort was put into making them. Fast, intense and I can't wait for more. |

| So I decided to start reading the manga, and wow, they really did skip 20 chapters. I can understand getting straight to the action, but that's a bit much. There's so much important stuff in the beginning, and because they skipped it a lot was cut and changed from the parts the episode actually did cover. |

| Good god I laughed so much at this bullshit. If shitposting transformed into anime this would be it. It was vulgar, stupid, beyond ridiculous and appalling and I'm definitely watching next week as well. It's obviously easy to compare this with Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku ni naritai! I find this one far better because the characters in Sekai were so serious. It was as if they were being so serious in an anime that was obviously created to show off some ass. Also they were boring. I love Keijo far more, because it doesn't even pretend, it knows it's completely ridiculous bullshit, and wears that label proudly. |

| @Thornister The reality is that it's a cartoon with poor animation quality - Xebec did way better with Nyaruko and To Love-Ru even (which had it's own flaws). Oh wait even Fafner had more detailed characters... most of the time xD Rating on AniDB is most likely to get to lower depths later on, when more users get to it. And those 3,000 votes change nothing if you weight them the same way - still around 3~3.5/10. Also the average rating here (~7.5) and there (~5) for animu series speaks for itself xD The gag/parody scenes are a bit cliche... Character stereotypes that we've seen in another over 9000 animu series bring less and less originality. The only new thing is the unusual "sport" setting. Also not that fateful to the original source from the very first episode, 'cuz it was more important to focus on the fanservice than dialogue. So yeah, yet another generic ecchi :D |

| @nikolai131 Its way of use of motion is great, animation is up-to most of the shonen battle animes we've got. Asses are really properly animated, small things like stretches on them or bounciness is just great. Action scenes have great angles, there are some better and worse scenes too. A solid 7 in this part. Wasn't the point of it being silly thing? A world that's so serious about this stupid idea of a sport that even breaks the law of physiques (not in the one it's though it seems). I get people for not liking this sorta comedy, but it's blatant faking the arguments when you point something that makes this original/unoriginal setting good. It's like saying that Gintama sucks because it bases its characters on historic japanese models even though they don't have anything to do with them. Secondly, it isn't objective to write off any character after 1st episode, even though I know that it'll not focus that much on it, character progression is still here. Skipping parts of manga that settle some backstories of characters and so on, seems like a bad idea, here you're right, but let's be honest, in a manga that rides on such an extremely radical concept, which alone makes some of the viewers hate it, bring it in the focus of 1st episode seems like a good idea too? 1st episode tries to sell what this thing does best, it focuses on the butt-action. Some minor questions should be answered in between main focus and they too should be answered in a ridiculous way, that's what I actually want. I'm sure more dialogues wouldn't get anyone that didn't like it, to actually like it. Buy the ones that your thing aims on, not the others just for appreciation. And fanservice, while I know that some people are obviously after it, if you don't get aroused by it or it doesn't make you puke, why do you even care if it's there. I wholeheartedly don't find it even a good fanservice show because of the whole idea being so retarded that I can't even care for it. For me, it's like with nudity in art, but stretched to the opposite not so noble end, it's done in such a irreverent, stupid way that only makes me laugh. This thing is very specific, but animation is good, it uses cliches and stereotypes to its advantage is good and action is good. It's the type of show that you either hate or love. As I don't care about anything other than the pure enjoyment I get from shows I find it fulfilling its job. |
| It really is a bullshit, but I admit that I enjoyed, thanks to the development in the field of comedy by the protagonist and the rest of the cast. Not so bad drawings, animations are decent. Catchy soundtrack, it's fun the opening. |

| Expected this to be typical ecchi fan-service trash but it is actually pretty well done, the fight-scenes are intense and funny as hell. Not sure if the humour will wear off once I get used to the ridiculousness of it all though. The plot is your typical run of the mill "I'm the underdog and I want to be the best!" at X trope but it is doing just enough to make you care about the characters somewhat. |

I may have said it wrongly with wanting to give it a bad score seeing only the first episode but honestly if it's just going to be concentrating on boobs and asses the whole time (atleast I feel it will be, I doubt any episode will be without it lol) I don't see the point of rating this show a 10 , something a lot of people have been doing unironically it seems. About what sports anime airing this season deserve more hype than this, I would say Yuri on ice. Haven't got time to see it yet but from what I've seen on twitter,it looks like a really great anime, instead of being a meme like Keijo imo. It even has a higher score which I'm glad to see. But yeah, I guess I will agree better is subjective... Just wanted to share my opinion on this anime's overrated status. |

Saying "keijo is a meme" is pretty baseless (what does it even mean). Its a piece of media meant for entertainment , just like other anime. |

Technically it wasn't her speed, but her precision, able to hit them in the chin in a way that rattles the brain and causes unconsciousness. It's a common boxing trick, which the manga mentioned but I don't think that line came up in the episode. |

| Good thing the characters are 18+. The promotional stuff on MAL made them look like high schoolers. When I first found out about this series, I thought 'that looks like trash'. But it's actually just as intense and action packed as any sports anime that I've seen. Sure, it's notable that, as far as I know, the only sports anime focused on girls is about a water sport, but I'm not complaining. This was actually a really good first episode. All four anime that I've chosen to follow this season have had really good OP/EDs. I kind of want to see more shows to see if they also have good themes. |

I don't go around watching and rating every yaoi fujoshi trash show low, I just don't watch it. So if you're going to rate Keijo, you need to be able to rate it as an ecchi (quality of T&A) AND as a sports show (quality of sports team intensity). So... MEH |
