| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- My personal favorite DBZ side movie so far. This was also purely fighting, but instead of androids there are scary aliens! Eh they were okay. The tournament was pretty cool though, especially the areas near the end. And the time where this movie takes place means we get more Gohan badassery like at the end of the Cell saga. Which was, of course, awesome :3 Also lol @ the Japanese title: "The Galaxy is in Danger!! The Super Awesome Guy!" I'm glad Funimation changed it. |

| This one had the coolest villains from all DBZ movies. Not only that, but Gohan was the hero this time! Some great fighting as well. I watched it subbed. Note: Piccolo always freaking saves Gohan at some point! |

| I actually enjoyed this one a lot more than I thought I would. It was pretty good. Hercule Satan is always good for a LOL, the tournament was reasonably fun, and the villains weren't too bad. Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha looked pretty bad though. It was nice getting to see Gohan pawn again, but why does Piccolo always save him at some point or other. Also, during the final fight, a few of the attacks were in the Gohan vs Cell battle. |

| A good and typical DBZ movie, with the ecception that this time the hero was Gohan. Sometimes characters had blue hairs instead of black. Bojack and his gang are not my favorite villains and Mr.Satan was funny as usual. 7/10. |

| Ah, how I missed the tournaments. It was nice seeing one again, however short-lived it was. Too bad Satan took the credit for all of Gohan's hard work yet again. This was a pretty good movie, probably on par with the first Broly movie. Quoting what I posted last movie. | Pretty good movie, I prefer the last one though (Broly). Pretty much just seemed like a showcasing for Gohan. Alongside Vegeta breaking out of his shell which was pretty interesting to be honest. I wonder if this will count as 'Canon' though, per say. By that I mean would it fall in into the story (main episodes) or will Vegeta have another shell breaking in the story? |

| I enjoyed the first half of the movie the best. The tournament was such a different format from what they usually do, it was really cool. Once Bojack showed up, it was just another DBZ movie slugfest. Overall, though, probably my favorite of the movies thus far. |

| Best DBZ movies until now I think... The beginning was pretty dam awesome with the tournament and the second half was cool I guess. Bojack was a likeable villain but I think they should've showed is past or something (is ambition)... Vegeta and Piccolo were defeated easily which is stupid and I hate the entries they make for Piccolo! Always saving Gohan -.- What I dislike besides Piccolo entrance was Bojack > Super Sayajin 1 (they could've told us why his so strong) and if Bojack > Super Sayajin 1 > Frieza, why didn't the Kaios sealed Frieza too? Overall: 7.5/10 |

| This together with Fusion Reborn are the best DBZ movies! Very good animation. Cool villains and a total badass Gohan at super saiyan 2. I reccomend it watching after episode 194! |
| Nice colors, action and rhythm until when Bojack actually appears. I really loved the fast pace and fun humor of the tournament section! The settings for those fights got really crazy! It was a little weird that the tournament organizer gathered aliens for his tournament but had no idea about ki and such. The ending was a little cheesy (basically "Hey Gohan! Use yr powers!"), but it was nice to see Goku assist his son instead of doing it all. Not sure what happened with Vegeta in this. |
