Lol wtf? If the king was the leader of some orgazination then yeah, it would make sense, but "One Eyed King" is clearly a symbolic title, so yeah, it being Kaneki is bretty gud. |

Now that he killed Arima (technically, I mean he WAS able to keep up with him) that makes him the new hope for ghouls, and the One-Eyed King himself. Can't wait for next chapter. His reunion with Touka-chan ahhhhhhh. But Eto.... I'm super sad at her death... I can't believe it... and... is Banjou-san... dead??? Also, looks like the CCG is pretty much dead now. Washu family exposed, Hirako quit, what's going to become of the other investigators? What's Hirako going to do now? Also, I'm contemplating hard whether I should take a break from this manga. I've binge-read this manga all the way up to 85 and that was just amazing. Not sure if I can deal with that whole "1 chapter per week" tease... I have been dealing with it each week yes it is a pain but I love getting into discussions of the chapter when people are discussing it. |

| Kaneki becoming the one eyed king. We all knew it but it's great to see him taking the throne. That look of Kaneki at the end... is pretty damn appealing. Please tell me Eto isn't dead. Killing her off at this stage is pretty pointless since Arima just died. But then again it won't be a shock since her goal has been achieved. |

| Holy shit epic. So everything was built up for this chapter. Eto and Arima's was working together all along for the sake of their masterplan, to create this hope (OEK) for the ghouls. Everything makes sense now. I'm glad Kaneki took the offer. Only problem I had is Eto being offscreened. We didn't even get to see her die... |

Hence, Eto wished for Kaneki to kill the OEK and now that the OEK (Arima) is dead, the throne is empty. Whether Kaneki will sit on that throne or not, it's up to him. And, he certainly IS sitting on the throne. Thanks for the explanation, this should be on top of post :D My mind was blown reading this chapter. Can't wait what the next arc brings us since Amon still hasn't appeared or the leader of the clowns. |

If we were ever to get a one eyed king a dragon formed kakuja would be more suitable then a centipede. |

| I think "One-Eyed King" is more figurative than what it seems. Eto calls him that because its the prerequisite for Kaneki to uphold the title. It seems like the story was made so Kaneki becomes the One-Eyed King which didn't exist beforehand. |

Yes that makes sense actually! and I doubt it will be Mutsuki because all the other characters (Joker, Jack and both Kings) have been introduced since part 1. She's probably a side-story just like Tsukiyama, Kirishimas, Houji, the QS squad and so on... Why I say mutsuki is because I feel she will have a fight with kaneki which will be similar to the fight with arima in part one. with kaneki beating her or something. She is also made out as a female version of kaneki with parellels to part one also when she is not mutsuki she is some entirely different force that we dont know the full power of. so her evil side being a one eyed queen could be possible and will be used to fight the king as the washuus and v will need someone to take on the king and mutsuki would be the perfect role. it also can possibly be yasuhisa but thats a long shot itself since they are not built up. the only things to support them is similar abilities to Kaneki as a halve ghoul and the fact they are able to possibly kill juuzou the closest thing in the ccg to arima. |

Thats pretty much the case because there was no one for the washuus and v to fear but something unstoppable they know nothing about. eto and arima cause chaos just to create a king who can reset the world they live in. Kaneki just came out as the king from that chaos by luck. It could be anyone but in the end it was Kaneki. In the last chapters of the first manga arima already knew about kaneki by calling out his name during the fight while eto was the one who told shinohara about anteiku and its coffee with an awarness her dad and kaneki are related to it. with the evidence of arima letting her into the ward at that time it appears they planned the fight between Ken and Arima. |

| Since arima is a half-human he is the one eyed human.. and eto is a half-ghoul so she is the one eyed owl.. both are the strongest in their respective group.. since arima defeated eto its obvious that he turns out to be the OEK (according to eto) even though he didn't knew.. (actually we dont know whether he knew or not) They were working together on a path to find the one strongest half-human/half-ghoul to take up the mantle.. the one who would be a hope for both man and ghoul kind.. And it turns out to be our very own ken kaneki.. And i think aogiri used kanous experiments for this purpose,to find that one strong person.. and arima nurtured his pupil from the sunlit garden.. all this to find that one guy.. This turns out to be awsome.. Now what is that the clowns want? To kill the OEK or to support him.. getting excited as hell for the next chapter.. |

| Of course Eto can be killed off, but a completely inconsequential character like Touka? Nah, let her get saved like a trillion times at the last second. And we all know Ayato's not dying either. There is hope that at least Yomo will finally go away. Good to see caring Banjou, though. Teen Arima sparing Eto and actually somewhat agreeing with her goal was very cool to see. Damn, was he badass, definitely going to miss him. Still, Hirako is doing a pretty good job of replacing him so far, look forward to seeing more of him and Squad 0. And what can I say about the last two pages... Centipede is now confirmed to be the King. I wonder what V's reaction to that will be when they catch wind of it, or the Clowns', who are the second obstacle remaining in the King's way. Guess there's no hope for Aura and mmm-boy now that Ken's there, but I honestly don't wanna see them die. A CCG revolt would be much nicer than a slaughter. In that trail, I wouldn't mind going back to Rue Island to see how the assault on Aogiri concludes. Not exactly sure how I feel about Ken being the King what with all the speculation that Arima was to pass the title onto him and turning out to be exactly that, plus Eto seemingly dying just because she has to, now that her human reciprocal did (by being offscreened, no less) but still - points for those last two pages. |

| Great chapter! now I'm very hyped! Now the new cafe would suit the One-Eyed King perfectly, well if Kaneki decided to return. since Eto and Arima had both worked on this, then I guess they really believe that Kaneki can bring about a better world between the ghouls and humans, let's see how that would work out... well if my presumptions were true at least. |
