| I just can't see the appeal of this show for having such a high score and praise. Like, this is SAO all over again with better animation and different setting. I'm not saying its bad but i cringe everytime people say stuff like "AOTY OH MY THIS IS A MASTERPIECE OF THE MODERN AGE FKGÇFKGK" like come on.. If you watched enough shows you'll see the point I'm trying to make here. I really liked the first part but now its just getting generic and generic.. "OH NOE THE BIG MUTANT DOGGY ITS GOING TO CRASH ME IN PIECES BUT SUDDENTLY A CHARACTER WHO NO ONE CARES ABOUT YET APPEARS FROM NOWHERE AND SAVES THE DAY" I really hope we won't be seeing this kind of situation in the next arc. The MC is not overpowered (like in SAO) , probably one of the weakest characters in the story. 2. Not the typical "weak to strong" setting typical of the shounen genra. 3. His power up is not based on fighting strength but the mental fortitude he develops after dying a couple of times. (He easily cried in the first eps, which was annoying at first) 4. You complain how he was SAVED just this one time in this episode while forgetting the fact the he alsmost regularly gets killed. This means he does not have the typical plot armor MCs usually get so I don't get why you actually complained since most show we see always get plot armor, |

What im trying to say is that Re:Zero is trying hard to be "serious" and stuff but comes up with some really weird plot devices like a puppy evil dog and a NEET protagonist who becomes an old sage when its giving people advices. Like i said, I've seen worst series before but Re:Zero its just trying too hard. Its like Mirai Nikki when the only thing that matters in the show is 1 or 2 support characters and everything else its just mediocre. |

I actually disagree with you, I do not think it is trying to hard. I think it has a great balance of humor and comic relief. It balances out the moods with great music to boot. I loved the little dog every time it popped on screen I died laughing. A show that has failed this season of balancing humor and serious would be Bungo Stray Dogs |

| Finally, this arc is over and it was amazing from start to finish. Everything about this episode was well done. The visuals, animation, soundtrack and the mixing of the opening song with Subaru's last stand against the mabeasts. The backstory behind Rem and Ram was tragic to watch but blended so well with this episode. That's how you do a flashback. Also that scene with Rem and Subaru talking in the bedroom was touching. I gotta give major props to Subaru as well. For the first few episodes, I couldn't stand him really and found him annoying, but he's developed into an unlikely hero very well. In a world where he has no powerful abilities that saves everyone and is next to worthless, he still ends up being the hero with his determination and self sacrifice. I've enjoyed his evolution in this series. Such an awesome episode and I enjoy this series greatly thus far. Can't wait to see what happens next week. 5/5 |

| AMAZING EPISODE. :O The twin's past was terrible. I really feel bad for them. I love Subaru's bravery. It's cute to see the chemistry between him and Rem. Finally, Emilia gets a screen time. I hope she'll get a character development too. The interaction between Ram and Roswaal at the last part is interesting. |

| How did I not see it before? Ram & Rem's hair styles are parallels to hydrangeas. So...how did the twins end up working for Roswall after they were taken by the hooded killers? My guess; he's the mastermind behind her oni village's massacre, and seeing the two of them were young and easily manipulated, he took them in to raise them as slaves maids. And guess who comes in the last minute to save the day, as if he was watching the whole time, able to swoop in anytime he wanted. I bet he's the one behind the demon dogs too and was just cleaning up his own tracks. I could be wrong about all of this, but you can never really trust a clown, especially not after he showed his too close of a relationship with Ram on his lap like a creep. Clowns may as well be spawns of satan. |
This episode was god damn amazing, I mean every episode from this series was amazing so far but, this one was definitely the best episode so far. I loved this one so much, Rem's smile was so cute I just want to cherish it forever. Roswaal-sama the MVP comes and saves the day, and Subaru is going on a date with the lovely Emilia-tan! Now.. It's been a bit too happy, it's time to see Subaru get broken physically and psychologically again. |

| This was an amazing episode and a fantastic way to end this arc revolving around Rem and Ram. We finally found out about Rem and Ram's past. Ram was the one that excelled at everything and Ram felt inferior towards Rem; she felt like useless and dead weight. One night, a group of people attacked the village and basically burnt everyone. That was when one of the attackers sliced Ram's horn off. Rem blamed herself for Ram losing her horn and tried so hard to become like how Ram once was. It really is sad that Rem ended up this way and had such a inferiority complex. I'm just so glad to see the character progression with Rem and Subaru's relationship. Roswaal came in to save the day and thank god he came just in time. If it wasn't for him, Subaru would've been dead for sure. Rem jumping on Subaru and crying endlessly was really cute and sweet. The 2nd half of this episode was so lovely. To think I initially thought Rem was a crazy bitch maid and now in this episode I'm liking her so much. I got teary-eyed when Rem and Subaru were talking in his room. The dialogue between the two of them, especially Subaru's encouraging words, were so impactful. Rem's laugh and smile was gorgeous. Protect that smile, Subaru! Damn, I still ship Emilia with Subaru but I can't help but support Rem x Subaru too. So every night, Roswaal replenishes Ram's horn's power. We find out that Roswaal's goal is to kill the dragon. I'm really curious to see how that turns out. Also, I wonder who that blonde maid was during Rem's flashbacks. She doesn't seem to be working at the mansion anymore. The episode ended with a scene with Subaru and Emilia. Subaru scored a date with Emilia-taaaannn~ Honestly, this was an amazing episode and a fantastic way to end this arc. Can't wait for the next one! 5/5 |

Rewrite what history? You can't rewirte something that never happened. You might have had point if Rem had still attempted to kill him here, but that never came to pass. So what are you exactly gonna blame this current timeline's Rem for? Remember this same Rem just risked her life to save his. So why doesn't this count for something while other one does despite being prevented? |

| @Cejara it's already obvious that Dragon and Witch are not friends. cause you can see in the show that many people despise the word of "satela" A.K.A The jealous witch. really rare to see someone despise the dragon. so i assume roswal is on the witch side....maybe.....or maybe he isn't. he just has a reason to kill the dragon.....either way, i'm really really looking foward for what will come next xD |

| and btw guys, chibi (a person who do an anime review on youtube) just made me realize and i forgot to say it too, remember when....... i don't know if it's rem or ram who said that the curse won't get activated. you know what it means ? it mean the curse is still inside subaru's body but it will not get activated again since the beast already died, BUT! there is a possibility that someone or something might activate it. and i'm guessing that curse will be the cause of subaru next death. kinda make sense right ? i don't know, it's just a guess from me. and one more thing. that girl, who disappeared afterwards, i bet she has some connection to the curse and the beast. and i kinda guess, for the second possibility, that girl might be the one who would activated the curse inside subaru's body.......who knows..... |

| So, is there currently a way with what knowledge we have from the anime to find out what the message on Subaru's foot cast says? I looked back on Episode 5 when he's learning to read and write and you see some of the alphabet here, but, it's not enough information. It just really piqued my interest since they seemed to purposefully zoom in on his foot there with a nice view of the glyphs on his cast. I just have no idea how to go about translating it. Otherwise, wonderful episode. Looking forward to the next arc. |

| This episode was well done. Perfect conclusion to the second arc. Enjoyed every minute of it, from the twins' flashback to Rem-rin's smile. Ah her smile gave me the warm fuzzies ♥ Hope to see more Emilia-tan soon. Her character is getting really underdeveloped compared to Ram and Rem at this point. |

| Loved the episode. 5/5 as always. Few questions remained though, 1) Who's the blonde maid? 2) What exactly happened after Ram got her horn cut off? Do the twins became Roswaal's maids because of that? Does Roswaal have something to do with the attack? |
