6 + 4 = 9, right?

Those of you looking for action will be highly disappointed since there's none of it. Those of you conflicted about Jun will feel even more conflicted.

Man, no freaking kidding. That certain part made me feel pretty wrong about myself.

Wasn't too enthused about this episode though, the entire thing felt pretty sluggish. I was actually kind of bored watching it.

Did you know there's a Phantasy Star Club?

Pretty interesting episode that was; got a few questions rolling around in my head about the end with Jun, but hopefully the next episode will iron some of them out, though the I got nothing from the preview. No action was a let down, but they pulled a winner of it regardless with some good Jun development.

Found this episode boring. Made me want to beat the shit out of Shin, don't know why, maybe the voice.

This episode was a bit odd actually. So it focused on the shaky bond between the brothers, in the end it became a bit stronger which can be seen when Shin decides not to hand over the data (I was like yay for Shin, he didn't betray his brother in the end). Besides that, the whole thing behind Jun is still a utter mystery. I wonder if Ryou will send th two of them outside of town (did he see the Persona near Jun? I mean it should slowly be obvious to Ryou that his brothers have something to do with... whatever this all is).

I'm surprised Ryou doesn't notice the stalker detectives. I mean, the same car keeps following you around everywhere. You can sort of see it easily in the rear view mirror, no?

I'm sure he noticed, he just didn't stop them.

I'm awating the time someone will come and explain the Personas; I have an idea since I played the second game, but still, the lack of explanation is making the anime weirder.

I don't get the whole confusion about Jun. He's a boy, who had a twin sister, and they were connected, and now she's gone, and he's by himself. He's just quiet and fragile. Dunno, maybe my tolerance is high or something, but he doesn't bother me at all.

I'm confused as to who the lady that's helping Ryou is. I think I saw her in a family picture, and Jun called her "onee-chan". Is she their sister, or maybe someone very close to Ryou? What do the evil gang get from 'absorbing' the Personas? When will the cool guys from the Velvet Room appear again? I'm totally sticking to this anime, it's very interesting, and with good family drama.

Personae are other "selves" that originate from your soul. Usually the tarot-type of the persona one has is directly related to their personality (i.e. Mitsuru is Empress \o/). Unless you happen to be the main character of Persona 3 or Aigis, you can't switch Personae freely.

The confusion about Jun is mainly that he seems to have a split personality and, in episode 4, apparently becomes his sister for a short period of time while manifesting his/her/their persona. Basically, especially since Sawashiro Miyuki isn't really putting much masculinity in her voice at all, most people are wondering whether Jun is actually a boy, or girl, or both at once.

Finally, Eiko is the coroner/whatever term you want to use who talks with Ryou all the time. She also appears to be a family friend from a long time ago and it looks like Jun has/had a crush on her (okay, it's pretty obvious).

The show needs more Igor, and maybe more Akihiko. If he stops talking on the phone and actually shows up on screen he better be carrying a jacket over his shoulder 24/7.

wow this series has been amazing. I was questioning if I should watch it or not but I'm instantly hooked. I definitely cant wait till the next ep.

PS. Jun and his dead sister where twins. Some twins have that "special connection" and can tell what the other is feeling or thinking. Maybe that has something to do with his split personality.

By far the best episode since the beginning of the series. The script takes off and some secrets are revealed, the characters start to interact more too.

Very, very good episode, it seems that the series just gets better and better (and the fights are usually crappy and senseless, so an episode without action scene is just great).

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

pretty good episode, it's interesting to see the connections between all the characters, guess the next episode is going to be more interesting.

i think jun will play the most important role in the series because he seems to have or be the 'trinity', consisting of him, yuki and their persona.

Somehow I thought that was because Yuki and Jun were connected by the forehead... o.o It's way to far fetched to be true though, and the scar would probably be much uglier. Still it would explain a lot XD

Yeah...I thought that this episode was ok. It progressed the story, giving some background history between the brothers and expanded the story a little, yet still left more questions that answers. However, this is only the 4th episode so I don't expect everything to be laid out already. I will say though that Jun is really creeping me out. Almost to the point I want to skip over his parts in the episodes lol. I don't know why, he , for some reason, is just really creepy and weird.

Also, I agree witht the split personality thing in Jun. I first thought it a possibilitiy when Ryou listened to voices discussing whether or not to wake Jun up early for school or to let him sleep in. One voice sounded similar to Juns' while the other was definitely more feminie. Perhaps this is Jun and his alter personality? Idk, but I will watch more to find out.

Jun's Yukiness didn't weird me out cuz they are twins. It seems like it has something to do with the personas on why it seems Yuki is inside Jun, plus it was pretty obvious from the past eps lol. Lol reminds me of that dude from Air Gear.

The rules of the Persona/Shadow creatures or spirits in this world are becoming a bit more apparent. The back story of the three brothers is fleshing out a little but it could have been a lot better explained, I think, although I won't really be able to tell until the end when I view everything together.

The reason for all of the violence, to steam persona creatures and use them for their own initiative, makes a lot more sense than random "wild persona" syndrome where they turn against their host, driven by fear and a weak mind, or something like that.

I like the animations so far where they show the connections being severed, rather than a lot of exposition. This seems to be something that isn't do too often even, even in more modern action, so I appreciate letting the visuals tell a lot of the story rather than endless talking with vague visuals.

That being said, the whole world so far feels like a type of purgatory or underworld, rather than the two-world system that we saw in the Persona games (of the normal world/Dark hour in 3, the Sun world/Black world in 1, the casual world/midnight channel tv world of shadows in 4) --- everything is dark and even the personalities so far are all Asura driven, "might makes right" and the closest thing to heroes are people who calmly use the Persona as weapons (the chief) or let their instinct take over (the main character).

Of course, the concept of negotiation and contracts was dropped after Persona 2, perhaps it complicates things, but it seems that there can be no nobility in only using force.

Interested in seeing where it goes, though, glad I got to pick this one up again, will finish as time allows.

4/5 for this and previous three episodes.
