| Sorry to bring another vague request again, but this time, I think it's probably so much worse, because I think this might be kind of common, but I dont know. Anyways, I'm trying to remember this Mecha anime, I only remember a little about it, I think it may have been a Gundam series, but maybe not. In the series, I think that they (the good guys) started on Earth, then launched to space sometime in the series, but when the came back to Earth, they entered into a battle with the enemies and began falling into the atmosphere while engaged in the battle. The ships, if I remember right, had some sort of gel pack type thing during re-entry, while the protagonists Mecha I think used a shield of some sort. Not a lot to go on, I am terribly sorry, but I would greatly appreciate any help |

Any other details: estimated year of release, animation style, etc?[/quote] Animation style I think was pretty similar to the Gundam series, and I want to say it was maybe a mid/late 90s, or early 2000's anime, I don't....think it was Gundam Seed, I remember that the protag and his group were on Earth, and at some point in the series, they had to go into space, I believe to...catch an enemies ship, then after they went to space, they had to go back to Earth, but were attacked shortly before they began atmosphere re-entry, the ships, had some sort of gel stuff that got released, and I think...the Mecha crashed a good bit away from the ship |
