| Anyone got their hands on this game yet? I'm seriously enamored by this game, it's fucking amazing. I almost felt inclined to give it the "Best game of the last decade" award in the review I'm making, but then I decided that still belongs to Witcher III. I picked up this game on Steam as fodder for a video I was making, and I got completely hooked. Since I've smashed almost 100 hours on it. The best of Harvest Moon, the best of Animal Crossing, the best of every farming and SoL game you've ever played. Anyone else picked this up? What are your thoughts on this game? Also, if you haven't given it a shot yet, I recommend you really do, it's fucking great. |

| I love it, played it quite a lot already before *cough* buying it through steam. Now I own it on steam as well but didn't play much on the new character. I really like how it doesn't spoonfeed you with information and you gain more knowledge of everything as you explore it yourself, alternatively if you feel like it you can look up everything as well (but that takes away the fun of it for me:p). Anyway, it's very addicting and I highly recommend it :) Also, have to add that I didn't play any of the harvest moon games yet, so can't say anything about that (yet)... |

| Never played Harvest Moon, but I'm a big fan of Animal Crossing and this game strikes that itch for me. I've only gotten to Summer of Year 1 so far, as I try to put the game off as much as possible since thinking "I'll just play a couple in-game days!" easily turns into an unintended six hours of gameplay. | I played a little bit of Harvest Moon back in the day and Stardew Valley does interest me a good bit. From what I've seen, it's been getting a ton of positive feedback as well. I'll probably pick it up on steam soon. |

I also bought it after pirating it, after reading up about the sole (!) developer who literally did everything from art, programming to music and his incredibly humbling AMA. Truly a developer that deserves the praise and success he gets. |

Animal Crossing has no failure states. Its pretty much no different from social clickers, except with some quality. You can actually lose in Stardew Valley. And you actually need to play and do things beyond just logging in once or twice a day to interact with some characters. |

| I bought this game a year ago, and I started playing it back in January, but after playing it for a couple of hours or so, I never went back to it lol. The little that I saw of it looked pretty good, so I'll probably give it another shot one of these days. |

| I used to play it a lot. The game is really addictive and is worth being played. If I'm not mistaken it was developed by one person who also wrote the soundtrack to the game (correct me if I am wrong). |
| I put about 100 hours in this game during a snowstorm a few years back, haven't gotten back into it since. But I do remember it consuming my time like it was nothing, it was very fun. |
| Last time I played years ago, I made a character based off of Varg Vikernes and married the goth teenager chick. I also had a bunch of mods. |
