| I think it sounds cute. When they're speaking full sentences in Engrish it doesn't sound too good, but wasei eigo like "chiizu" and "faito" sound cute. I also like character names and attack names in magical girl anime. "Kyua Happi!' |

| Sometimes, it's actually not bad. There are conversations and even songs which use the English language and they're pretty good. This obviously only works because the VA has proper English speaking experience, some VAs actually lived in Western countries before. Other times, yeah, it's just as bad if not worse than the worst of English dubs. |

Other than that, only if a dub is just so bad, like Attack on titan, despite being set in a European nation. Baccano on the other hand, was perfect dubbed because they have the characters speak with New York accents which fits the setting. |

| The Japanese VA can't pronounce the english words very well each time they are using it in they contexts, some would sound different than it should. But when they are using it in a epic moment you can't help but to love the way they said it and you would repeat it the same way (although you know it sounds wrong) ^_^ |

French people probably cringe every time they hear an American or British person or some other native English speaker speaks French in a movie or tv show. |

| It's lazy. There's plenty of people who can speak good English in Japan. But even then it's not impossible to outsource. Is it so hard to contact a company like Funimation and ask one of their VA's to record a few lines? |

| The average Japanese person is not great at or can"t speak English at all. So most of the times it would be very weird to hear some Japanese character speak it with a minimal accent. Plus, the Engrish of Okabe in Steins;Gate is hilarious. When the character is foreign however. |

| In the majority of times is cringeworthy, except if the ones pronouncing the English are Archer, Senjougahara or a character from Jojo. Then it's glorious. |

| To be fair, English-speaking people aren't their target audience? To give some perspective, I watch some of my anime/voice actor events on a Chinese site, in which on the topic of English, many people would say "[person] is actually quite good at English for a Japanese person", while I sit in front of the screen and raise my brow because it was atrocious. It's probably easier for Japanese audiences to understand Engrish than English anyway. So yeah, I'm not going to complain. |
