How do you deal with anxiety and stress in your daily life?

I've been wondering how other people go through these events in their life , like for example , lately i've been feeling really bad because my biggest concern is college and i need to keep moving forward and the exams coming now are strating to get on my nerves.

So , how would you deal with the situations that cause stress or anxiety in your life?

I take a break to do smth I enjoy like watch one episode or read one chapter. Sometimes a brief nap calms me down. I also do yoga or go for a run, which is really relaxing.

Do what makes you happy or talk to people who make you feel important. For me it's listening to music, watching anime, being with my dogs or talking to my cousin. Sometimes you just gotta be stressed too. A good cry or scream will make everything feel better for a little lol.

If tension is pretty high and I have some spare time then I like to take a nap. It puts some distance from my worries and then when I wake up I feel refreshed enough to think clearly and start tackling things again.

I'm literally autistic so I avoid it all together to prevent a meltdown, but that's hard to do since there's drama in my life non-stop.

Anyways, not going outside is a great way to avoid stress. People and being away from the home freaks me out so never leaving cancels that out.

De-stressers are:

• Hentai
• Video Games
• Anime
• Making Music
• Listening/Exploring Music
• Facebook (if people are online)
• Clickhole and fake news sites (this includes fake scare-clickbait not just comedic stuff)
• Being in my room alone in the dark
• MyAnimeList shitposting

Nicotine helped me to destress for awhile before, now I vent whatever stress I have on a video game. I hear talking to others helps, but I find that it's not something I'd want to do since I'm not too trusting.

hold it in as long as i can only to release it on unfortunate peeps who manage to get to the end of my patience (which is not really that hard).
used to play video games, watch anime, make 3d models, read (western)comics and manga. but since i'm broke, friendless, jobless, and my computer (that doesn't freeze every single time i load something) broke down I can't do all of those effectively/at all.

I am the type of person who cannot eat and sleep when I feel stressed or depressed.

At times like those it's good that you have someone you can talk to or let your parents know... if you can't then talk to your friend or post it on internet ( I don't do this though lol, but some people says that it help them)

Also what I do is watch as many anime as I can... or read as many manga as I can and there I will forget every worries that I have and be happy again.

Excercise is a very good one. Not is it a hobby to keep your mind off things for while, but it has csme psychosomatically legit stress reduction effects.

Also, finding a place where you can just be yourself for a while (with people around as a bonus) can help you relax, and forget about social pressures for a bit.

Its been a while since I had anxiety but when I did there wasnt a way for me to deal with it, listening to music, watching anime...nothing helped me so yeah, I just suffer it till it calmed down, somehow.

Always happens to me and when the time comes, I take action on the matter.
I take a time out to practice yoga or get a massage. Also, listening to music helps a lot. I watch funny anime, having a good laugh also helps. Take a relaxing bath, or go biking. If you have someone you love close to you, get a hug, your mom, dad, boyfriend. Also, get more sleep!

Weight lifting. Recently got into boxing, pretty rough, but punching things is fun. Meditation is good too. Get enough sleep. At least 8-10 hrs.

Avoiding my problems, which happens to be my struggling with school, so I skip and make it worse. It's been especially bad these past 2 weeks. I should get set up with a psychiatrist

Other than that, on my good days I like to draw and keep myself busy in school.
