| I will say that the hold that DBZ has on some of the Western fanbase is astounding. It's like cancer on Comicvine. Any series that can somehow manage to replicate that even when it makes no sense is bound to fill that role. At this point, no other series so destroys the logic of its adherents though. |

| Bleach had good TV ratings in all the countries it aired. It's been a while since it had any big advertisement thou, so it doesn't seem popular anymore, but it is and the sequel will jump start it back into mainstream. |
