I thought I would not like it because it did not seem to draw much attention. But I tryed it and watched first 14 episodes in a row and next day watched last 11 episodes |

| Kiddy Grade. If you ignore the bad fanservice and outdated graphics I quess it is a decent watch... but it is not nearly as good as I have rated it. It was the first anime I saw (besides a few episodes of Pokemon/Dragon ball/Yu-Gi-Oh) and it is the reason I got into watching anime in the first place. I remember getting REALLY caught up in the story and the characters the first time I watched it, though I can't really explain why :/ ... And Pupa is so bad that it's funny |

| Do the people who say "If I like it, then it's good" realize how pretentious and silly they sound? To answer the OP, I guess Photokano. I know its at most sub-par and almost certainly bad, but I enjoyed it. Lucky Star is pretty mediocre, but I had fun watching it. |

An anime can still be good and you can like it, but you can see it flaws and bad things. In other words, you just dont give every anime a score of 8-10 out there, just because you enjoy it. Try to be critical and have some standards. The anime rating consist from 1-10, while 5 is average. Ummm, what, how is that relevant? And I for sure don't give high scores to everything, I do use the whole scale. |

| The anime people consider "bad" I love is Amnesia. The game is 90000% better and Heroine's personalities were taken our but Ukyo, Kent,and the side characters are great in both anime and game the fact they made Heroine confused and trying to figure out what is going on is pretty good idea ,and the art is pretty. |

However, some that I remember taking an unnecessary amount of flak here are: Accel World Aldnoah Zero Another Brynhildr in the Darkness Elfen Lied Future Diary Highschool of the Dead The Irregular at Magic Highschool Lunar Legend Tsukihime Sword Art Online ...all of which I thought were quite entertaining. |

| Basically what this thread is about, is that we name some anime we like that isn't well receive by many, and with that we uncounciously think the anime is bad. And before anyone get it twisted, I know that someone can like something but also see the flaws in them, but to outright say the series is bad just because of those flaws, to me doesn't make any sense. The bigger question is, what is the difference between a series that you like, but at the same time you know its "bad" assuming because of its flaws, with a series that you like, even with its known flaws you still doesn't think the series is "bad" overall? I think this has mostly to do with what you hear from others. |

| Grisaia no Garystu I like to imagine that the lorry drivers and the bus driver are all the one same guy that's just determined to ruin the main cast's lives. The speed at which the girls each fall in love in turn is too ridiculous. It is a genuinely funny show for plenty of the wrong reasons. RayAdha said: Mars of Destruction. Being critical is examining why you enjoy something and ask if these are legitimate reasons. The importance is that you'll have solid reasons for enjoying an anime. It doesn't have to bee Deep-n-Philosophical-mature (then again, how many 'mature' anime can compete with Digimon Tamers?). If an anime tells an exciting story with fun characters who all have distinctive looks, that's good. If anime is so badly put-together it manages to be entertaining, then it still achieved something. |
