| yeah, they actually stopped the anime/left it on a cliffhanger, where the manga really started to pick up, its disappointing equally disappointing tho is the last like 8-10 chapters for build up when we know whats gonna happen anyway lol (not spoiling anything, anyone who read it will know what im talking about) |

| No, there won't be a season 3. Sequels generally happen within 2 years since the previous one ended, after which the chances become practically none. With 3 years and still no news, it's not going to happen. As far as the industry is concerned, this anime is yesterday's news. |

| I'm pretty sure there will be a season 3. I have faith and so should you. Granted, given the timetable, it should have come out a year ago, but any number of things could have delayed it. The manga is still ongoing and is fairly popular too. |

| According to the dvd/bd sales, there was very little drop off in season 2 from the first season. So that would indicate it's at least in the realm of possibility. At this point however, it would seem the only way a 3rd season might come out, is if it's to finish off the story, so maybe they are waiting for the manga to finish. The manga is nearing completion i think, at least the final battle is going on. |

| Seven Arcs have only animated 1 tv series a year for the last 6 years so this may be a potential factor in whether or not we ever see a Sekirei season 3. They gave Dog days a season 3 so there might be some hope left but then maybe they just wanna do Dog Days Season 4. so what will we see in 2016? Sekirei 3? Dog Days 4? new anime? with the manga ending soonish I'd say that 2016 is the last shot at seeing Sekirei 3 maybe a little bit for 2017 depending on just how long into 2016 the Sekirei manga runs assuming it lasts into 2016. once the manga is over and a year or 2 slip by there is probably no chance left. |

| Yesterday, weirdly enough I come across a Sekirei video that I have saw a very long time ago and it suddenly gives me this feels of sudden urge to rewatch the whole anime again (Both Seasons + OVAs). Needless to say I fall in love with it again and also reminded me of the time when I first saw this anime when I was in High School which reminded me of why I fall in love with this anime in the first place. It's have been almost 10 years ago since I first watched Sekirei. I know a decade have pass since Season 2 have finished, and now we are in the year 2020. Of course a chance for Season 3 is pretty much 0.001% to 0% but I still have this little tiny hope that hopefully someday.....someday.....there will be a Season 3. |

I wanna see how Minaka's "game" stage 3 goes! There has been too many anime that conclude way too early, and unfortunately this is another one. This is one of the many cons of watching anime. You watch a good story unfold only to be abruptly stopped. Even if it is a 0.000001% chance of it coming back, it's still a chance. I'll wait but in the meantime, time to move on I guess. |

| I recently watched Sekirei, and i really liked it. I haven't watched many animes in my life, i'm also not a big fan of fantasy. But Sekirei was something i like, especially the characters. I don't care about the harem stuff and i don't mind the nudity, if they didn't put any nudity inside, i would be fine to. But it did add that extra touch in humor. The reason why i like Sekirei is because of the characters. And i didn't find it over the top like many other animes. I want to know how it goes further and if Minato ever going to lose a Sekirei, hopefully not. I watched season 1 and 2 in one and half day and was disappointed that there isn't a season 3. When i saw the S1 and S2 release date, i was like "jip, thats it, i was finally getting in to it. But it came to a end already." But anyway, i never read a manga maybe i should try it. I find a movie or a tv serie way more immersive then reading. But maybe i should give it a chance. I really hope season 3 will comes soon. |
